Stayed here for 3 night. Thought it was a 4 Star quality hotel and far far better than any of the dozens of Courtyards I have stayed at in the last year in the U.S. Perfect location to do our foodie tour of Tokyo. It is next door to the fish market and close to multiple train and subway stations... More

My husband and I booked a room at courtyard at Marriott at ginza as a last minute booking. The hotel location is really fantastic. It is right next to the happening places around the Ginza area and walking distance from the Tsujiki fish market. The room was nice and comfortable and kept extremely clean. The staff were good and polite,... More

The location is fantastic. Its just round the corner from the main Ginza street with all the vast departmental stores and a stone's throw away from Tsukiji fish market. also not far away from the Higashi-ginza subway. The staff could not have made me feel more welcome. Room is a decent size for Tokyo and comfortable with the usual amenities... More

In the largest city in the world you find this safe and VERY friendly hotel. Ginza (I found out) was the "Beverly Hills" of Tokyo. With high end shopping and great food this is close to everything and with its central location you an Uber to anything else you want to see or do. This hotel is clean and very... More

My week-long stay at this well-positioned Marriott Courtyard in the Ginza shopping district, started on Jun 17 (past mid-night). As we checked in we were met with enthusiasm and a sincere welcome even that late in the evening. Check-in was quick and thorough (drink and breakfast vouchers for platinum members, wi-fi etc..) We had requested an upgrade and a bigger... More

Don't let the Courtyard branding fool you; the service and facility are US main-line Marriott level. Very good English skills at the front desk; very comfortable US-sized rooms. Appreciated them giving us two connecting rooms. Lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping within a 5 min walk. Skipped the buffet breakfast and walked 10-15 min to Tsukiji market and grazed through... Booked 4 nights here in the Courtyard and the location is very ideal. Less than 10mins walk to Ginza main street and the Higashi Ginza station. They have a huge lobby and the rooms are bigger than the traditional hotel rooms in Japan. The bathroom, however, I found too small. Carrying the name Marriott, you can find a lot of... More

Congratulation and appreciation to the reception team of dealing with the error in my reservation dates. The team was most courteous and attentive. Our stay was brilliant. Excellent Sushi restaurant and superb breakfast. Thank you - you are wonderful! The position is great and conveniently situated for the Metro. We toured Tokyo independently with success!

I have given reviews of the Ginza Courtyard Marriott and only do so again as they continue to amaze me with their service time after time. My last trip was a terrific example of this. Yes there was the usual friendly greetings, smiles, great breakfast, rooms very roomy for Tokyo etc. I hesitate to use the word ‘usual’ as great... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
