5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I have given reviews of the Ginza Courtyard Marriott and only do so again as they continue to amaze me with their service time after time. My last trip was a terrific example of this. Yes there was the usual friendly greetings, smiles, great breakfast, rooms very roomy for Tokyo etc. I hesitate to use the word ‘usual’ as great... More

Perfect location for us. Free buffet breakfast for reward members. Spacious room. Would choose again. Central to everything. Easy walks. Located on all maps on street so early found no matter where we wandered

The hotel does not seem to have many Japanese tourists. Nevertheless it is a very good convenient hotel. The room size is good, with everything you need. The bed is very comfortable and there is ample storage space. Location is good, but perhaps not as close to Ginza metro station as you would like. The buffet breakfast is better than... More

The staff is incredibly friendly and most speak English fluently. Place is clean, and rooms and beds are large by Tokyo standards. Location is in heart of Ginza, and within walking distance of upscale shopping, fine dining, and subway stops. Taxis are never more than a couple of minutes away. This is my home away from home in Tokyo.

When we first arrived we rather thought this was not a good hotel for westerners. We were wrong! The standard of service is very high in this hotel. The rooms are quite spacious and scrupulously clean. The breakfasts are extensive and reasonably priced and the Restaurant Muraki serves authentic and very acceptable food at a good price. Tokyo is an... More

I stayed there for 1 week for Tokyo Lifestyle Show. Good hotel at a good location. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance from hotel. They serve a good breakfast but the same menu every morning. Don't go there with JW Marriott expectation and you will enjoy your stay

This hotel is in a great location only a few blocks from the heart of Ginza. Lots of great eating options around. The hotel itself is in good condition with cozy rooms and helpful staff. We were very pleased with our stay. Close to subway stations, this is an excellent base to see Tokyo.

This hotel has again, lived up to the Marriott reputation of Service Excellence. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Ginza area but still away from the hustles and bustles of the busy shopping and restaurant strip in Tokyo. My wife and I stayed 5 nights and managed to explore the popular sights in Tokyo thanks to... More

Never talked to concierge but all front desk staff was so helpful with directions and timing for local atractions. Everyone spoke excellent English so there was no stress about learning Japanese. Higashi-Ginza station was just around the block, tried it for the first time and had no problems. Everyone in Tokyo is so nice and helpful, I would highly recommend... More

I stayed here since the other hotels were sold out and I would say it's average. I found some of the people in the reception desk a bit grumpy 😡; some of them were good though. The rooms are OK - I found them small. The breakfast spread was average. The hotel doesn't have a concierge lounge 😞...:One of the... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
