I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone travelling to Japan due to the convenience of the train line, it is a cheap affordable suburb that is one stop away from Akihabara (electric district) - once you get used to the subway and train lines, public transport is the most convenient mode of transport! Obviously, the rooms are small... More

The first thing you have to realise is Japan like China is tight on space and the rooms were small, but perfectly fine. The room was very clean, nice feather duvets, memory foam pillows and comes with all the toiletries you could possibly need. 2nd thing is I believe the APA hotels were built to accommodate travelling businessmen and so... We arrived in Tokyo at 8:00 am and they told us that check-in is at 3 pm. So we went to the city and came back at 2:30. We thought they would be a bit flexible about the time (since we haven't slept for 40 hours) but they told us again that check-in is at 3pm- so we had to... More

Though perfectly located near Kodenmacho Station (as is reflected by its name) and also Tokyo Skytree, this hotel doesn't live up to the expectations due to some inconveniences; small corridor, tiny room, and poor air-con are some of its minor drawbacks.

for Asian because room size is really japanese, including the bathtube, which only barely fits half of you if you are huge. I must say this new hotel was perfect to single traveler. It is located with 2 Diff lines and the best thing that others did not reveal was its distance to tokyo station, only around 1000yen by taxi... More

This was good hotel: clean, fresh and quite new. Everything worked fine and I would stay again. The neighborhood is quiet. Rooms are tiny small as in many hotels in Tokyo and the view was towards another building. We paid 500 euros for a week. The APA Hotel Kodenmacho Ekimae is 3 min walk from the Kodemmacho metro station (Hibiya... More

Took quite some time to find the hotel. Made a few wrong turns - google maps, please update this! - walked more blocks than necessary and even landed on a different APA hotel (maybe 5-6 blocks away from this one). Then we were directed here and realized it was just a few blocks away from the station, more or less... More

Although the room was a bit on the smaller side, it had everything we needed with some bonuses including a mini-fridge and full size bottles of Shiseido shampoo/conditioner/body wash. They even supplied single-use toothbrushes and toothpaste (in case you forgot these). ] I think it's important to mention how clean the unit was as this is important to me. No... More
