This hotel is a total rip-off. Had to choose it because the weekend we were in Tokyo the hotel we regularly stay in was fully booked and the APA was in a close neighborhood to where we had meetings. Rooms are super small, restaurant is closed for most of the day and not many things happen within walking distance. For... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and for what we needed it for it did just the job. The room was a little bit pokey but we only stayed here so that we were in a good location to go to the fish market bright and early! and indeed this hotel is in a good location to get to the... More

Overall experience was great. Typical Japanese economy hotel, the room was small but it was sufficiently done with all the minor details ranging from different kind electrical outlets , temperature control unit, and all the way to alarm clock; all on your bedside. There's a flat screen TV with plenty of Channels to choose from. My favorite is the water... More

I chose this place as a last minute option since I was flying standby, and at New Years there is little available. Initially I was disappointed to be in Tsukiji, as I knew the market was closed and it felt out of the way. It ended up being a nice calm refuge, as it's more a normal residential area, to... More

We were very surprised when we first got into the room. It was very nice considering the price we paid. We left our luggage and went out. Got back really tired and jumped into bed only to discover the mattress was more like a hammock. If you tried to lie flat on your back you literaly ended up in a... More

Read a lot about this hotel with complaints of bed too soft, room too small, aircon not working, noisy corridor, smelly room.. well I would say it's really case to case. My experience in tokyo hotel stay has so far been the opposite of wat negative remarks I read online. Because I have expected small rooms in japan and it... More

This was a one night stay I picked up off of booking.com for $53 USD when my capsule hotel didn't cut the mustard. For $53, the room's a steal- next to Tsukiji, very small room, but comfortable bed for one, nice shower, clean, everything you could need in the room. One thing I noted is the in-room magazine published by... More

The hotel is a 5-10min walk away from the Tsukiji Fish market. To catch the Tuna Auction, the best bet on time is to reach the market’s Fish Information Center (aka registration / waiting room) before 3.30am. We woke at 3am and walked from the hotel to the registration room, reaching at 3.12am. The Auction is limited to 120 visitors... More

We stayed here for just one night for the proximity of this hotel to the fish market. It is conveniently located only five minutes away from the Tsukiji stop of the Hibiya line, and a five minute walk in the other direction to the market - very handy considering how early we had to get there in order to queue... Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
