This was a one night stay I picked up off of booking.com for $53 USD when my capsule hotel didn't cut the mustard. For $53, the room's a steal- next to Tsukiji, very small room, but comfortable bed for one, nice shower, clean, everything you could need in the room. One thing I noted is the in-room magazine published by... More

The hotel is a 5-10min walk away from the Tsukiji Fish market. To catch the Tuna Auction, the best bet on time is to reach the market’s Fish Information Center (aka registration / waiting room) before 3.30am. We woke at 3am and walked from the hotel to the registration room, reaching at 3.12am. The Auction is limited to 120 visitors... More

We stayed here for just one night for the proximity of this hotel to the fish market. It is conveniently located only five minutes away from the Tsukiji stop of the Hibiya line, and a five minute walk in the other direction to the market - very handy considering how early we had to get there in order to queue... The reason we stay in this hotel because it's near and walking distance to Tsukiji market , so if you need to visit the Fish auction early in the morning this is a good choice of hotel. The hotel itself very clean, small but very neat. Convenient store just opposite the hotel, train station just walking distance and next to... More

Stayed for 3 nights, then again for 4 nights after a week traveling. Chosen because it was literally the last hotel in Tokyo on hotels.com for a last-minute booking. I've stayed in better hotels for similar room rates in this neighborhood, would only return if none of the others was available. Location is so-so - Tsukiji area is good (handy... More

The room I stayed in at the APA Hotel Tsukiji was TINY. The width of it was literally the length of a long double bed, which itself took up 3/5ths of the room. The bath was also TINY. However, for someone who was on a business trip and only used the room to store my small cabin-luggage in and to... More

A typical small size hotel room in japan but well equiped with amenities, i really like the design of the room, its near the tsukiji fish market if you want to see how they sell fresh tuna at early morning, many restaurant nearby, a bit far though from the train station, but its affordable

My usual caveat: I speak pretty fluent Japanese so your experience might be different if you don't know Japanese. Even so, this business hotel does a passable job at catering to foreigners. I stayed here with a colleague for about a week for a work trip. My colleague did not know how to speak english so I translated for him... More

We stayed 4 nights at APA hotel. It was a pleasant and comfortable stay. The beds were a little too soft for our liking but nevertheless, had a great night sleep due to all the walking ard in Tokyo. The staff do not speak much english but good enough to understand each other. The location is great! just 10 mins... More
