Since my wife was pregnant and we are non-smokers, we explicitly booked a non-smoking room. When we entered the room there was a heavy smell of smoke, not only in the air but also in the sheets, cushions, carpets, closet etc. We went to the reception where we were told that a room change was not possible. Instead we should... More

Have no intention to stay in Hatchyobori, other than it locates very close to my HQ office (APA locates 3min from the Hatchyobori metro, and 20-30min from the Tokyo station). Clean and tidy room with free WiFi, although it is a bit tiny. But for a business trip, what else should I ask for other than a comfortable shower with... More

We were stuck in a snow-covered Tokyo, along with a load of stranded tourists, and were glad to get this room near Tokyo station. Staff were very helpful in looking up the location of Sushi-sei, recommended by a friend, and writing out its address for us to show the taxi driver. The room was impressively small even for Tokyo, but... More

My Japanese friend chose this hotel and we stayed for 2 nights in 2 single rooms. Compact room and tiled bathroom with shower over bath.Comfortable bed.No noise issues.Spotlessly clean. Our rate included a fairly basic Japanese breakfast, also toast and yoghurt. Staff's English was fair.Clientele is mainly Japanese. One young man at the front desk helpfully took me around the corner... More

I stayed here for 3 nights, and this was a great homebase for exploring Tokyo. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Hatchobori train station, which itself is 1 station away from Tokyo station. The top of the building with the APA sign can be seen as you exit the street from the subway. The room was very clean... More

We had a 2 night stay here, booked by Hotwire. The room was a decent size hotel room in Tokyo. It was clean, comfortable, and also came with free Wi-Fi. The staff does speak English. One downside was that the room only had 3 visible outlets. I did however move the minifridge to access a couple more. This hotel is... More

For those who wish to stay in a less crowded area, I would recommend this hotel despite the fact that the size of the room is pretty small. However, the cleanliness is better than other hotels in similar price range. Additionally, facilities and amenity in room are more than adequate for your stay. Bed mattress is pretty soft so it... This hotel is a couple of mins walk from the Hatchobori tube and JR line train station (itself one stop down from Tokyo station). It makes a good base for exploring Tokyo (via metro - good value if get metro pass from airport) and quite good also for those wanting access to Tokyo train station without being so close to... More

One downside of business hotels is that the rooms are small. After all you are only in the room to sleep on a business trip so no need for lots of room, right? That being said even by Tokyo standards these were small rooms. BUT, can you say Sealy 2 piece mattress with memory foam top? This is one the... More

Great for 2 people! Really no more can fit. Clean rooms but VERY tiny spaces. We chose this hotel since it was just 5 minutes from the subway, and that was super convenient. Staff doesn't speak much English but we didn't need much from them. Breakfast is super expensive but there's a convenience store nearby and several noodle shops by... More
