- this hotel is right across the street from tokyo train station making it super convenient. - there is a little mart right next door, a 7 eleven with international atm just down the road and easy access to taxis any time of day or night - the bed has a super cool wake up function which slowly increases the... This is a nice hotel in a great location! Just across from the Tokyo station! Easy to jump on the train. Especially for travelers to Disney or to have trips in countryside. Meanwhile, there is a department store near by,it's very convenient to have everything you need.

It deserves all the fantastic reviews. We had a deluxe room on the 13th floor with innovative wakeup technology. You have to be there to enjoy. Restaurant on the top floor but several places to eat nearby. Five minutes to the Tokyo Station which will send you anywhere within the city or country.

Great hotel located near Tokyo station as well as Nihombashi and Otemachi metro stations. It is a bit small but I think average for Tokyo standards - we were able to manage with the space as a young couple. Very friendly staff and a pretty good breakfast option (remember to download their hotel app to get a discount). Would definitely... More

This hotel is conveniently located a few blocks from Tokyo station. Our room was tiny, immaculate, and had a modern Japanese aesthetic (such as "mood" lighting around the bed, sound machine integrated in the bed frame, and toilet with all the bells and whistles). The bed is proportionately tiny which made for a cozy night sleep. A yukata and slippers... More

We highly recommend this hotel as it is not only a lovely hotel with very helpful staff but also a great location. Just across from the main Tokyo station and the JR lines with great restaurants close by - so easy to get around from here. After two weeks of skiing we loved the beautiful beds and pillows...it felt like... More

My husband and I stayed here with our 8 month old baby for only one night in early February 2015. What a shame we were only here for one evening! This hotel is the best Japanese hotel I've ever stayed in and since returning home, I am desperate to import one of their gorgeous Forus System beds! Everything about this... More

Although, I had specifically asked for an early check-in, because we caught the red-eye from Kuala Lumpur, this was impossible. We tried everything, having only one room, not check in now (around 10 h), but at 12h, just being able to shower. Nothing was possible. Very poor English spoken at reception, but "no" was a word well learned. There is... More

I stayed at Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo for 3 nights last summer. The room type we stayed was Japanese Suite. It is at 8F, but the room is big and has a small garden. Our kids love this hotel very much. The staff is friendly. The room is comfortable and clean. We will choose this hotel to stay again next time.

The room we stayed in is small, but clean and well maintained. Check in was fast. Hotel staff speaks good English and accommodating. The hotel location is excellent. It is near Tokyo Station and there is an airport express shuttle in front of the hotel (which is 50% cheaper than taking the Narita Express to the airport from Tokyo Station).

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
