This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in, on arrival we were allocated a room on the 3rd floor and as we opened the door the stench hit you. We went back down to reception and asked for a different room, this was given to us but the next room smelled the same but not quite as bad... More

Went on a 12 day Japan tour. All day spending out, I looked for a decent place to sleep and that's what that hotel is. Let's go step by step: The location is great, perfect for newcomers. Tokyo doesn't have one center where you should be, it has several, so it's important to be close to the metro station, and... More

Small but ok rooms. The breakfast was served in the lobby and was very basic and messy, crowded and dirty tables. Wifi was working ok and the Hotel is close to a Subway station which is with only one change from the Narita Airport reachable.

I travelled to Tokyo for a week long stay with my friend. We stayed in the same room. I found this hotel better than I had wished for (considering the price). - Location is top notch, the hotel is from walking distance to Tokyo station and Tokyo City Air Terminal. We also visited Ginza on an evening walk. 3+ metro... More

We stayed at Hotel Villa Fontaine Nihombashi in 2 periods, before and after we visit Kyoto. We really liked the service and their simple, but helpful attitude. When my reservation had to change in Kyoto and move 1 day later, the receptionist called the hotel himself and solved the issue. It is just next to subway, 7 Eleven and many... More

I just returned a week ago from my tenth visit to Japan and I stayed at the Villa Fontaine Hakozaki Nihombashi. It was my second stay there. I usually choose the Villa Fontaine chain for its affordable room rates and particularly the Hakozaki Nihombashi branch for its proximity to the Tokyo City Air Terminal. I take the limo bus from... We stayed for 4 nights for our Tokyo trip and love the value and location of the hotel, especially its lovely adequate breakfast for us as complimentary. The hotel situates very near to airport terminal bus station and Suitengume subway station. Our tiny room is good designed and quiet enough for quality stay. There is also have bathtub for relaxation... More

I stayed here for 7 nights over the Christmas and I am very happy about my stay. It's Execellent value for money. I got a super good deal of about USD 60 per night. The hotel exceeded my expectation. It's a good place for budget traveller. -Excellent location. 30 sec walk to a metro station, and 5 minutes walk to... More

We stayed here for 6 nights and were all very happy with it. The rooms are small, but that's what's expected in Japan. Only complaint is no wifi in room (only in lobby), however the breakfast in the morning was a nice plus (it does get super busy). The service provided by the front staff was really great. One our... Stayed there Oct- Nov 13 last year, gotta say I like everything about this hotel! The location is very convenient, get off at Suitengume subway sta. and walk 2 mins. There are Lawson and 7-11 nearby. Also, u will find a lacal ramen shop at the corner of the road next to the hotel, it tastes incredibly good! We visited... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
