The rooms were small, but accommodating. The bathroom was also very small. only a 2 sq ft of space to move around in. What I did not care for was the breakfast. There were no rolls, muffins, or croissants as pictured on their web site. There was white bread which you could toast. There rest of breakfast consisted of things... More

This hotel is in front of Meiji-za, it was really useful place for me! It was only 2-3minutes by walk from Meiji-za! I was impressed with breakfast. It was simple, not so variety foods, but bread and salad were really tasty. I liked it! If you went to Meiji-za, I really recommend this hotel!

Toyoko Inn's management have certainly got something right. The rooms are cozy and amenities are superb for the price you pay. I can't really fault what I'm getting and this is in comparison to other locations in Paris, London, Singapore. Location-wise, it's good if you want a cozy place away from night life. We thought we would never find a good place to stay in Tokyo at a reasonable price, so we gambled on the Toyoko Inn chain. The Hamacho location turned out to be good - just less than 2 blocks from the Hamacho subway stop in a residential neighborhood, we found it to be better than we hoped. The Toyoko Inn... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
