This hotel is conveniently located, just 5 minutes walk from Tokyo Central Station. However, the room is very small. Everything is within your reach. By placing your luggage bag on the floor, not much walking space is left. Nevertheless, the stay is comfortable and the hotel staff are helpful. There are many eating places nearby. There is also an convenient... More

The best (only?) thing about this hotel is it's location. We had a lot of luggage and needed somewhere very close to Tokyo Station for an early flight the following day. This hotel is located an easy several minutes' walk from the Nihomabashi or Yaesu North exit of Tokyo Station. Price-wise it was cheaper than many hotels in this prime... More

This hotel is a 5-10minutes walk from Nihombashi exit (where the buses are), right next to the Mizuho Bank building. The check-in time is 3pm, which sadly is the standard in Japan. But you can store your luggage here, and when we got back it has been delivered to the room. They locked it and put it inthe hallway, but... More

The room and hotel were clean and the decor was modern, with the usual exceptional service from staff. My daughter is an ex-pat Aussie living in Tokyo, which helped with the translation, but there are usually staff that can speak English if required. This was our first hotel of a three week road/train trip across Japan, which I later came... More

Check out was at 3pm which after a 10 hours flight overnight isn't very practical! Staff not so friendly and they keep your luggage in the corridor... The room was clean but very small, close to Tokyo Station but the entrance is very hard to find! Overall ok but overpriced

My wife and I stayed in the Pearl Hotel for 8 nights in April prior to a cruise. It cost 730 Yen to get there by taxi from the main Yaesu JR exit. Our taxi driver who only spoke Japanese had no idea where it was and had to call them for directions. It was good that we had a... More

I spent one night at the Pearl Hotel Yaesu. I had an early morning trip the next day on the Shinkansen and wanted to stay as close to Tokyo Station as possible. I was shopping for hotel rooms strictly by price since I was getting in from Narita in the evening and leaving early the next morning. This hotel is... More

I stayed for 2 nights and having read some of the prior reviews I was a little worried. However, my experience with the hotel and staff was very positive. I arrived at around 10am having had to check out of my previous hotel but had no issue with leaving my luggage and the desk staff were friendly and helpful. I... More

The Pearl Hotel is a reasonably priced option located next to Tokyo Station. I paid approximately ¥15,000 for a semi double room with two breakfasts. The room was small but clean and I did not detect the smell of cigarettes as a was on a non-smoking floor. The breakfast was unique in that it included fondue but this makes sense... More

The hotel is a 5 minute walk with your suitcase from Tokyo station, so it is convenient. My room was clean ad quiet but small for Western standard, though it is a common size for Japan's "business hotel" and the price reasonable at Yen10,000( £55 @ Yen180/£)per night. One big disappointment (not about the hotel) is, there is no limousine... More

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
