Check out was at 3pm which after a 10 hours flight overnight isn't very practical! Staff not so friendly and they keep your luggage in the corridor... The room was clean but very small, close to Tokyo Station but the entrance is very hard to find! Overall ok but overpriced

My wife and I stayed in the Pearl Hotel for 8 nights in April prior to a cruise. It cost 730 Yen to get there by taxi from the main Yaesu JR exit. Our taxi driver who only spoke Japanese had no idea where it was and had to call them for directions. It was good that we had a... More

I spent one night at the Pearl Hotel Yaesu. I had an early morning trip the next day on the Shinkansen and wanted to stay as close to Tokyo Station as possible. I was shopping for hotel rooms strictly by price since I was getting in from Narita in the evening and leaving early the next morning. This hotel is... More

I stayed for 2 nights and having read some of the prior reviews I was a little worried. However, my experience with the hotel and staff was very positive. I arrived at around 10am having had to check out of my previous hotel but had no issue with leaving my luggage and the desk staff were friendly and helpful. I... More

The Pearl Hotel is a reasonably priced option located next to Tokyo Station. I paid approximately ¥15,000 for a semi double room with two breakfasts. The room was small but clean and I did not detect the smell of cigarettes as a was on a non-smoking floor. The breakfast was unique in that it included fondue but this makes sense... More

The hotel is a 5 minute walk with your suitcase from Tokyo station, so it is convenient. My room was clean ad quiet but small for Western standard, though it is a common size for Japan's "business hotel" and the price reasonable at Yen10,000( £55 @ Yen180/£)per night. One big disappointment (not about the hotel) is, there is no limousine... More

I choose this hotel because of its localisation near to Tokyo main station. Unfortunately hotel is mainly for smoking guest and I had to spend night in smoking room, which was awful, smells horrible and was dirty. Staff wasn't helpful at all. Room size was adequate, wifi good and free, but still this smell :( I can recommend this hotel... More

The Pearl Yaesu has two things going for it: location and price in super expensive Tokyo. It is only 5 mins walk from the North Yaesu exit of Tokyo station and a cinch to clamber up to even with suitcase in tow. It is slightly hidden down a side alley and behind tall office buildings so its location is not... More

Only stayed one night as needed somewhere near Tokyo station for an early train the following morning. Did sightseeing on the first day and being near the station was easy to get to and from during the day and evening. Check in was polite and efficient and nothing like some of the negative comments in previous posts. I booked a... More

Was staying for 1 night only, only had a backpack with me. Was perfect for this (Room had just enough space for 1 piece of airplane handcarry). Check in and out was brisk, friendly and uncomplicated Had japanese style pyjama and all the needed amenities in the room (no need to bring your own stuff, great if you need to... More
