My wife and I traveled to Misawa AFB to visit our daughter, in the process we stopped at the Sotetsu Fresa/Nihombashi-Kayabacho location to stay our last night. We found it extremely convenient to the 2 different subway stations and it's proximity to Tokyo Station. We easily were able to actually take a taxi ride to Tokyo Station for only $10... More

I was there in November last year for my birthday trip. My friend is the one who managed to get this hotel for our stay. The location is really good cuz it's near 2 different subway stations which is different lines as well. The stations are 5-7 mins walking distance. Besides if you get hungry at night there is Family... More

Sotetsu Fresa Inn is a great hotel chain in Japan. The only comment is that if you don't like japanese breakfast (eggs, shimeji, soup, fried fish), get yours at a starbucks or some other coffee place.

The location and price is the main selling point of this hotel. It is near a subway stop so it is easy to get anywhere! The room and bed were very tiny but you aren't in Tokyo to stay in your room. It was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast included and it was fine, but nothing to get excited... More

The Sotetsu Fresa Inn was the perfect little stay in Tokyo. The prices for the rooms were excellent, the rooms were small (as described in the measurements provided on booking) but not cramped. My partner and I stayed in one of the double bedded rooms, (I am about 160cm tall and my partner is a broad shouldered 180cm tall man)... More

Accomodation is just right (although small) for a single or double guests. But it is value for money. Place is very clean for a budget hotel with free wifi. Toilet amenities are changed daily and kept clean and hygenic. Even the pyjamas are changed daily. Simple breakfast is included. Place is located next to Metro. Hence it is very convenient... More

Very small rooms, but this is, I understand, typical of Tokyo. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities required to make our stay a comfortable and pleasant one. The staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was basic and, although not what we were used to, got us off to a good start each day. Even, the kids,... More

Conveniently located close to the metro station, this hotel is what is commonly called a business hotel. Rooms are very small, but very clean and well equipped. Excellent for a short stay, when in transit in Tokyo. All main places in Tokyo can be easily reached by metro, and the Narita airport is one hour from there by metro and... More

Great location and great little room. Staff was friendly and helpful, plenty of freebies available and less than a block from the subway station. 3 diffrent covience stores within a block, and multiple restaurants. I saw in previous post guest complaining of smoke in the lobby, but it is no longer allowed and I didnt notice any smell. Will most... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
