Location is very good - about 200m from Ginza, which is the main shopping street in Tokyo. Check-in starts 15:00. Lobby is in 16th floor. Let hotel know if you need your room earlier. My room (single) was quite small, but it was well equipped (minibar, charger for usb, micro usb, iphone etc.). Room was modern and clean. View from... More

I like the fact that everything in the hotel was relatively new. I wouldn't say it's particularly family friendly (restaurants downstairs don't cater for young children) and the rooms are quite small for sharing, but it's not a bad base to holiday in Tokyo. I would have liked it to be closer to the stations however. Didn't bother with the... More

A great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff and views looking out over central Tokyo. We stayed here for 2 nights on the start of our tour of Japan and it was a great introduction to Tokyo. Close to the Ginza main shopping area and also within a short walk (15mins) from the Imperial Palace. The room was a little... More

We stayed at this hotel 3 nights for our first trip to Tokyo. Overall, not worth the money (we paid around 300 euros/night without breakfast), but I've seen it's sometimes on offer for under 200euros, which would be ok. Rooms are so small we had to call the reception upon arrival to check that we really got a deluxe room...... More

Overall great location between two MTR stations. Very clean, very good dinner, breakfast average. Very helpful staff. 5 min walk from fish market. Got an upgraded room and still very small. If you don't like tight spaces then this is definitely not for you. Overall would recommend and definitely stay there again. Toto toilets full automatic and central console for... More

Thank you very much for choosing to stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. Our hotel location is good benefit for both sightseeing and business. It is easy to access everywhere using the Japan rail way and the Tokyo metro as you mention. We are particular about the details for not only guest rooms, but amenities and facilities. We are... If you want to be very close to the heart of Ginza then you should consider staying here. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is maintained very, very well. You would feel it is a very new hotel or very recently renovated but that is not the case and you definitely can't tell. I was not impressed with... More

Thank you very much for choosing to stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. Our hotel located in the heart of Tokyo, so it is easy to access everywhere from our hotel for shopping, sightseeing and also going to stations. Our guest room is compact as you mention, but we think it is efficiently designed. We have 9 kinds of... More

We had to stay one night in a different place so we walked in the Mitsui garden Ginza and got the last double room ( smoking ) although we are not smokers . The hotel is located just one road behind the main ginza street . Reception is in high floor . Modern design in earth colours with a restaurant... More

Thank you very much for choosing to stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. We are sorry that there were only smoking rooms. We can try to deodorize a room, but we cannot do that perfectly include a whole floor because our floors are divided smoking and nonsmoking. The view is one of our appealing points. Guests can enjoy beautiful... More

This is a medium sized hotel opened in December 2014 in the very central district of the world famous Ginza. One of the entrances/exits of the Higashi Ginza Subway station leads directly to this hotel entrance. Otherwise, it will be about ten minutes by taxi from JR Tokyo station (about JPY1,300) or a 15 minute walk from JR Yurakucho Station.... More

I would have rated this Hotel excellent, if not for the overly small and compact rooms. The uber chic Lobby with stunning city views is a stand out. The front desk staff are also very helpful. If only the well appointed and functional rooms were slightly bigger. Also, surprising that the TV remote control is totally in Japanese; so it... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
