This hotel is relatively new. The reception is on the 16th floor, and the hotel occupies the floors above. Because of this the views are amazing! The rooms are very small, but this is typical of Tokyo. Service is excellent.

Walking distance to Gion shops and restaurants, Tsujiki fish markent, and only 10 min. taxi ride from Tokyo station. Very elegant lobby and professional and helpful front desk staff and concierge. We had a large (30 m) room with twin beds, a little couch and a nice bathroom with a bathtub....all very modern and comfortable. Didn't try the breakfast but... More

We were in Japan for Cherry Blossom Season and were quite pleased to find that this property still had some rooms available. We had to book a room on a smoking floor but we had left a note during booking that we would prefer a non-smoking room, and when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had... More

Just a short stroll from Tokyo station, the entry does not reveal any surprise until the 16th floor reception welcomes you with a spectacular view of Tokyo. Personnel is very professional, welcoming and charming while being very efficient in responding to any pragmatic questions. The room, with an adequate surface, is spic and span, and magnifies the Tokyo horizon. Even... More

Very convenient location - less than 15 minutes from Tokyo station by subway (and just 7 min walk from subway and JR Shimbashi station). Walking distance to vibrant Ginza streets and number of attractions. Impeccably clean. Lots of attention to detail in the room. Good service. Now, the small double room is tiny - had to step over suitcase, not... More

I spent three nights at this hotel and found it a pleasant place to unwind after a busy day out in the mega city. The hotel is walking distance from the fish market, royal gardens and Ginza's famous shopping district which are all great starting points for getting to know Tokyo. From the lobby windows, you can see the Tokyo... More

The staffs was helpful, especially for non japanese speaking guests. The info counter staffs are efficient and proficient in English. Definitely a hotel for the discerning. Excellent location.... I love the location of this hotel. This hotel located at former Ginza Daiichi Hotel. Just 5 minutes walk to Ginza and 10 minutes walk to Shimbashi station (JR, Asakusa, Ginza Line). You can shop till you drop at Donki Discount Store right across the hotel. The view bath double room is very small unfortunately and not suitable for elderly... More

This is not my first choice of hotels in Tokyo, but since reviewing my favorite I have been having problems getting bookings there. That might teach me something. Anyway Mitsui is definitively in my top 5. Great location, excellent view of the tower and surrounding environs at night. A high tech hotel with laptops in the lobby, good amenities in... More
