My friend and I were looking for a hotel that was nearest to Tokyo station, which this was - right across Tokyo Yaesu Central exit. The room was small but we just had a trolley bag so as long as it was zipped and propped up, it wasn't a problem. The bathroom is small too, but toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo... More

The location is the biggest selling factor of this hotel. Pros include the price as well as the possibility of included breakfast as well, which is what I opted for. The staff were nice and although aged, they don't speak much English (if any) but they're friendly! Cons are pretty obvious if you've read the other reviews. The rooms are... More

I've stayed here on my last night in Japan, and I found it to be of acceptable quality for the price I paid (9700 yen or so). Taking one of the last Shinkansens back to Tokyo from Kyoto, I found myself in the middle of Tokyo at 23 o'clock with no real idea where should I stay until my flight... More

Look, if you are in Tokyo for the hotel, you're missing the point. If you're looking for luxury, wrong place. If you're looking to go to sleep at night after enjoying the day/evening, this is the place. Clean, affordable and right outside tokyo station and next to Ginza. Very central. Yeah it's small and with your luggage, not much room,... More

We stayed here after missing the last train back to Osaka. The men at the service desk were kind enough to realise we were in a desperate situation, not knowing Japanese or knowing any major landmarks in the area other than the train station and the Palace, so gave us their cheapest two-person room. I haven't slept in a bunk-bed... More

Picked this hotel due to it's proximaty to Tokyo Station. It is not a tourist hotel, and we knew that going in. The rooms are super small. It may work for one person with one bag, but for a couple, when we opened our basgs there was NOOOOOO room to even walk. We stayed with a freind in the next... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
