Diamond Hotel has a good location, as it is near metro station on the other way and nice park with cherry trees on the other. We travelled around Tokio from the hotel and one day also walked around the Imperial Palace to Ginza. Room is very compact and "1,5 person's bed" was good for two. This was a good home... More

The hotel is a great value for money. The staff is really good and friendly. We have really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Good room. It is at 1 minute walking distance from Tokyo Metro and accessible from airport.

I spent 4 nights here. The bed was comfortable but if you're not used to small, grainy Japanese pillows bring your own. The room was quite small but not unusually so and the bed itself was larger than expected for a single. There is a desk, flat screen tv, water kettle & tea, hair dryer, robe, slippers, and nice enough... More

We chose this hotel because of its central location and a check in time of noon. Arriving from the UK at 8am, we didn't want to wait until 3pm to get to our beds! The Diamond actually allowed us access at 11am and that was typical of their friendly service. However, not much English is spoken, the rooms are very... More

Very difficult to find reasonably priced hotel room during the golden week holiday. Semi-double room of Diamond Hotel is JPY12000, which is considered as a good rate So booked two nights. Hotel is in Hanzomon which is a relatively quiet area. Going to other areas such as Ginza, Tokyo Station, Nihonbashi, Ueno, Shinjuku, etc is easy and fast. Room is... More

This hotel is in really good location, only 1min from station.(Tokyo metro Hanzomon line ,Hanzomon station.) And Imperial Palace is quite near. If you like, you can run around Imperial Palace with a lot of japanese runner. There are convenience stores and cafe near hotel. For room, looks as normal japanese business hotel, but quite clean and silence. But they... More

Stayed here after being is a five star - which was too expensive for me. This is situated in a quiet back street near the British Embassy. I enjoyed my stay here and liked the area too. It is a budget hotel so the rooms are small but perfectly clean and the service is good. No laundry facilities but that... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighborhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
