I rented the Akane function room for a series of meetings at this hotel recently, and it was quite delightful. Well-maintained with impeccable service; all at a location that is a few metres from Hanzomon metro station (Use Exit 5). Out-of-town attendees can stay at the hotel, which is a pleasant but simple experience - free from the trappings of... More

Stayed here for business for 9 days in July. That's a long time in the small rooms of a Japanese hotel. Still, this hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I asked for a non-smoking queen room thanks to all the reviews here on Tripadvisor and my room did not smell like smoke. It... More

Stayed here on a 6 day business trip to Tokyo. Being vegetarian I had a lot of questions about places to eat and requests to help heat up microwaveable food I was carrying. The staff was incredibly helpful. The morning breakfast (included, when I booked through the official website) was also excellent with a huge variety of choices (including fruit... More

this review is kinda of late, stayed there in mid nov for 4 nights. Located in quieter side of the city compared to Shinjuku, Shibuya area. The hotel is located right in front of Hanzomon metro station exit 5 if i remembered correctly (hanzomon line - connects directly to shibuya). Room is clean with comfy beds but a bit small... More

Good location for visiting the palace, National Theater and other central Tokyo attractions. Pretty basic - small, clean and functional, but close to Metro and walking distance to some interesting Chiyoda destinations

Rooms very small and pack with beds and furniture, so don't bring the cat. If travelling with someone you will need to choreograph your movements to move around the room! Walls show lots of marks so looks like collisions occurred ...see above comments. Good little 'Italian' restaurant two doors away and they take credit cards

This hotel is in a great location. It is a business area so quiet at night. Right opposite the Hanzomon station and a short walk to the park surrounding the Imperial Palace. A few convenience stores very close and places to eat. If you want to eat authentic Japanese I highly recommend the noodle bar just beside the hotel (turn... More

My stay has been ruined by the smell of stale cigarettes in my room. It's keeping me awake and because I don't speak Japanese, I haven't been able to get the staff to agree to moving me to another room (the staff speak some english but not much). The free wifi is good. The room is small but could be... More

As a group of 4, we stayed here back in November 2010, as part of a three city tour of Japan. From Tokyo, we also visited Hakone (Mt. Fuji) and Osaka. This hotel is what would be defined as boutique. The rooms are small, but very nicely kept with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. There are restaurants and... More

We stayed here for 2 nights after having stayed at Keio Plaza Tokyo and in Kyoto at a ryokoan. We were shocked at how dirty Hanzomon was. The carpets are disgusting, and the walls and windows and common areas are all below par for a boutique/business hotel in such a clean and nice city and for the price/night they charged.... More
