Stayed in Deluxe Room on 19/F overlooking the main street. Found bed and pillows to be overly soft, requested change in pillows on 2nd night. Only minor complaint would be breakfast at the lobby. Very busy and staff did not seem in control at times ie. forgot coffee order, ran out of carrot juice...Check out was very efficiently handled by... More

This was my first time in Tokyo and having heard stories on Tokyo's space I was a bit concerned with it and I was prepared for a capsule hotel (ok, maybe not that extreme). Our room was very roomy with a small living room and table, walk-in closet and bathroom with tub, shower, japanese style toilet (weird if you are... More

Wonderful location has The Peninsula Tokyo, in front of the Imperial Palace . Behind of one of the best shopping areas in Tokyo, but it failed about not having a lounge where guest could just sit and watch people passing by or wait for friends to go out ..... Confusing breakfast location shared by the lobby entrance, I felt like... More

The Peninsula Hotel, Tokyo is a very nice hotel but if this is a 5-star hotel how many stars does the Oberoi Udaivillas in Udaipur, India or the Llao Llao report in Bariloche, Argentina get? My point is it's good but not among the very best. The room we had was very good and spacious and the service and food... More

We stayed in this hotel twice-in the beginning and end of our trip. On the arrival day , though my guide called a couple of times for EARLY check in from on our way from the airport, I had to wait from 11a.m till 2.30 for check in. When I told at the desk that I was so tired after... More

If it's you're first time in tokyo and you just want to take things slow especially having a 2 year old toddler in tow, the Peninsula tokyo is in the center of a pleasant district where hibiya park is a stone's throw away and surrounded by a quiet neighborhood where you can leisurely take walks away from the busy crowd... I had a privilege to stay in this hotel in April 2014. Big room. Massive bathroom with automatic toilet. Highly recommend. The breakfast was the highlight. Stayed there for 3 nights. Very friendly staff and walking distance to Ginza.

We came to the hotel after staying at the Hong Kong Peninisula. We expected the same level of service and detail that we had experienced in Hong Kong at Tokyo. What a surprise! It was completely different. Staff was not friendly. We practically had to beg for water and were only given 2 small bottles to drink and for brushing... More

Second stay at this 5 star hotel. Service is excellent. Before arrival the guest relations had made a local retail purchase and arrange train tickets - both ready on arrival and check in. I was also able to check in to my suite well ahead of the 1500 standard. I had 15+ business meetings during the 4 days stay and... More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
