This hotel is amazing. The hotel staff is so attentive and makes your stay so enjoyable. The room was just beautiful and worth the cost. The bathtub was a great way to relax after a long day of travel. We will be sure to stay here when we return to Tokyo as well as in other cities.

Peninsula has always been an outstanding chain, and this is probably one of my favorite hotels in the world. The service is top-notch and the room is spacious enough to comfortably fit three with a rollaway - always welcome in an expensive city. The huge dressing room/closet is a particular highlight. The location is great too; two metro stations and... More

This was our third stay at the Peninsula but the first as a family and each time we never fail to be impressed. Despite arriving at 930am, our room was ready, complete with not just a rollaway bed which we had requested, but a proper, full-sized single bed had been set up in the room. As we were traveling with... More

As a regular visitor to Tokyo, there are not many hotels which can rival the Pen. The rooms are spacious and well thought out. Check in was fast and efficient. A gem. If one had to suggest an improvement is perhaps as a victim of its own success, the concierge can get overwhelmed. Time to add more resources in this... More

Peninsula is one of the best hotel chain in the world and Tokyo 's hotel is aligned with the high standards of the brand. Rooms are big, well furnished with all accessories you need: Lavazza coffee machine, colour laser printer, all pc cables, fax etc. Bathroom is huge and fantastic. Inside pool is excellent with a beautiful view of the... More

I stayed at the end of the year 2015 and beginning of January of 2016. I was saddened to learn that the wonderful GM of this property for over 10 years? retired that same month. I am sorry I never got to meet him to personally thank him for years of dedicated and tireless service and hospitality. This is one... More

This hotel is centrally located to shops, attractions, park and even the train station. The lobby is beautiful, great place to have tea time and great desserts. Staff is very knowledgeable and polite.

Service is very 'on it', particularly at the management level. That said, the hotel feels a tad inflexible...forcing the guest to conform to the way it wants to run. This might just be the difference between the relatively large Peninsula and more boutique-size properties in the city (like Aman and Four Seasons). The Peninsula pool is one of the nicest... More

Conveniently located a couple of steps from the Tokyo Subway and also the JR line( for foreign visitors) In the heat of Ginza, a classy area full of top draw shops, restaurants and bars! Our visit started with seamless check-in, our room was HUGE.. compared to other... More

apan was the first stop on our honeymoon. The Peninsula is absolute perfection! We opted for the Rolls-Royce pick up and drop off at the airport... WOW! The service at pick up was flawless (as was the drop off service). Once we got to the hotel, they walked us directly to our room for check in rather than waiting at... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
