My experience with Tokyo Station Hotel started with email correspondence with the very excellent concierge, who helped me make a restaurant reservation. The location is unbeatable. I experienced two rooms, one dome facing and one maisonette room. I did not sleep very well, but it may be because I am slightly too hypersensitive, as it was definitely not noisy in... More

Classical Hotel and yet modern... dont know how to describe properly but best of all, we had the best comfortable base in Tokyo for our trip. Easy to come from a long and tiring airplane ride, just take Narita Express and 1 stop, you are in your hotel right away. Going to ride Shinkansen in the morning and be back... More

It can be confusing coming to Tokyo for the first time and locating the entry to the hotel from the railway station. But it is this location that is one of the advantages of a stay there. We used our Japan Rail Pass to go easily from the hotel to station platforms, and to access shopping areas on the other... More

We spent the last 2 days of our honeymoon at the Tokyo station hotel. Great hotel, great location, great staff! We loved it! The beds are very comfortable, bathroom with a huge bathtub and all accessories available. The breakfast is really good (western style and Japanese style) Don't hesitate, everything is great!

Love everything about this hotel. Location is super accessible being at the station station. Service is absolutely thoughtful and superb, even for me coming from Thailand where service is supposed to be good. The intricate attention to every single detail by the Japanese is shocking. The rooms were super comfortable and very clean.

If you are traveling business in Japan, needing to visit many parts of Japan such as Osaka, Kyoto without mentioning many cities in Tokyo, then it would be difficult to find more convenient hotel than this hotel. This hotel is a historical building (looks great) and part of Tokyo station. The service is very good and breakfast is also great.... More

I had always wanted to stay at this hotel after watching an NHK TV documentary about its 100 year anniversary. Finally in January 2015, my wife and I managed to book a 2 night stay which turned out to be one of the finest hotels we have stayed at. The hotel is on top of the Tokyo station itself, but... More

Tomorrow is our last day in Tokyo. We stayed at the Tokyo Station Hotel. The location of this hotel is just perfect. Sitting on top on the Tokyo station, you can go all over Tokyo using the extensive train network. There are good eating joints around the hotel and the most amazing thing was an Indian restaurant (Dhaba India) less... More

I would have loved to stay longer at this enchanting boutique hotel owned by JR, not just because of its beautiful rooms and immaculate service, But also due to its location at the Tokyo Station itself which has shops, restaurants, and to top it all a 5-10 minute walking distance to Imperial Palace Gardens. As I had left for Kyoto... More

We sayed here for two nights and booked through JR line. Be aware that if you do that and are a member of SLH program you will not be given points. Yes, this is part of the SLH group of properties and is very very nice. It is located, as would be expected given its name, within the rail center... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
