While most hotels in Tokyo are tiny, the Dai-Ichi Hotel Annex offers rooms that let you move around even with a baby or small children. It is an extension of the bigger Dai-Ichi Hotel, but the service is no less excellent that its more popular sister property. People at the reception speak English well and are pretty helpful. There is... More

The hotel is a bit old. The twin guest room is a bit small and difficult to put suitcases and stuff, though comfortable enough for a short stay. Staff at the front desk have been friendly and helpful too. In just a few minutes walk from the hotel you will find the train station and the shopping street with shops... More

I've been to Tokyo for business trip a couple of times and with the type of budget the company is paying. There's a limit to the choice of hotel I can stay. Luck for me, this time round Yen price drop enough for me to book Dai-ichi hotel Annex. It's a older hotel but with nice big room. Service personel... More

I stayed here couple nights on june 2014. I love it because its clean and convenience . Only walk one block , ton of Japanese Restaurants there and Shops. Plus, they provide Shiseido Shampoo, body wash in room. I will stay here again in the future.

I loved the location, on a pleasant street on the edge of Ginza with Shimbashi metro station just 2 blocks away and plenty of really cool restaurants and bars within walking distance. It's also an easy distance from Tokyo Central Station so good if you are going to be travelling around Japan by train. The rooms are nothing special, but... More

I recently stayed here for a business trip. It was recommended because it was close to the office. The hotel was a big disappointment. It was run down on the inside. The carpets were very dirty in the elevators. The rooms seemed to have been newly renovated but they were very average. A nice touch though was the clean night... More

Rooms are small but average for this category of hotel in Japan. But typically, the room is well equipped. If you don't plan to spend much time in the room, its acceptable. Again, this is normal for Japan. If you can afford to pay more, the main hotel the Dai Ichi itself probably has more spacious rooms. Like most hotels... More

Large double room for Tokyo with a big desk. We even had a closet ! A/C was only in Japanese though..but there is of course slippers, bathrobe and teas. There is an Italian restaurant but we didn't try it.. Love the location because its few steps from shinbashi station. Close to all the attractions in Ginza . Huge variety of... More

I had been warned to expect small bedrooms in tokyo hotels, but the Dai Ichi Annex had quite reasonable sized rooms. There was a good sized desk for spreading out all the papers I was working on, and a decent bathroom (although no loo paper, just a shower in the toilet -- is this the norm for Japan?). There was...
