Large double room for Tokyo with a big desk. We even had a closet ! A/C was only in Japanese though..but there is of course slippers, bathrobe and teas. There is an Italian restaurant but we didn't try it.. Love the location because its few steps from shinbashi station. Close to all the attractions in Ginza . Huge variety of... More

I had been warned to expect small bedrooms in tokyo hotels, but the Dai Ichi Annex had quite reasonable sized rooms. There was a good sized desk for spreading out all the papers I was working on, and a decent bathroom (although no loo paper, just a shower in the toilet -- is this the norm for Japan?). There was... Overall, I would rate this "average" since I have no major negatives, but no major positives either. On the con side, I would say that the lack of onsite dining options was our biggest negative. We tried out the breakfast buffet, and it might have been OK for Asian travelers, but had very limited options for Westerners. We ended up... More

Stayed over the weekend. This is conveniently located, easy to access via Shinbashi or Ginza stations, which are easy to get to via subway or JR line. Bottom line this isn't a cheap nor really distinguished spot, but its relatively less expensive for this swanky part of Tokyo. There are several Lawsons convenience stores nearby, and all manner of eateries... More

Stayed at this centrally located Business Hotel at would strongly recommend it for couples and small families looking for value for money accommodation in great location. Had pleasure to experience both the Hibiya (cool neutral color) and Ginza facing (warm color) deluxe rooms and was pleasantly surprised that they are not as cramped as the typical Japanese business hotels. Amenities... More

Stayed at Dai Ichi annex for 4 nights in December 2014. The room was small and spartan but perfectly satisfactory, as seems to be the norm for inexpensive business-oriented hotels in Tokyo. The clientele was mostly Japanese, with some American and European guests; mostly male. The location is pretty good, within walking distance to lots of restaurants in Ginza, and... More

Had a short but very pleasant stay here. Service was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed, not as fancy as the Dai Ichi, but all the amenities were there and the price was right. We've stayed here many times over the years, and they've been very consistent. We normally arrive at Narita and take... More

Practical option for couples. Great location, a few meters away from Shinbashi station, good wifi. The rooms are much smaller than its neighbor, Daiichi Hotel but it amenities are all there. The lobby was especially helpful as they helped me find the places I was looking for. Its good value for money. I travelled April 2010 and then again April... More

I stayed at the Dai-Ichi Hotel Annex recently and although it's not as grand as the neighboring Dai-Ichi hotel it's certainly well placed for access to the Ginza district for shopping and food, The rooms, whilst not very modern, were very average with the minimum of room. I stayed there on business so really didn't require to spend much time... More

Location is excellent - walk to Shimbashi station or Ginza district - two stops to Tokyo JR station. Was not impressed with young front desk staff, but the lady at the concierge desk (closer to my own age) provided excellent help. Rooms were musty when we walked in, better (i.e. no problem) with AC on. Breakfast was OK, but for... More
