We stayed 7 nights, never having been to japan before. The hotel is very clean, the rooms small and tidy, the bed and pillows perfect for me and the massage chair which does take up a lot of space in a small room, fantastic.( especially after a long flight or day out) The decoration of the room is older style,... I stayed in this room for business for about a week. It is no frills but a great location, quiet ( a little train noise) and easy. I can't recal if there was a food service, but I don't think so. Pros: very clean quiet good location (near ginza and large Shimbashi station) Coffee shop, 3 convenience stores and mcdonalds... More

I was very pleased with the Dai-Ichi Annex. I almost didn't book it because it was so cheap, I assumed there must be something wrong with it (CAD$150 a night doesn't get you much in New York or London!). But I'm glad I did. It's an older 4-star business hotel; the style is 1980's, and it still has real keys... More

While most hotels in Tokyo are tiny, the Dai-Ichi Hotel Annex offers rooms that let you move around even with a baby or small children. It is an extension of the bigger Dai-Ichi Hotel, but the service is no less excellent that its more popular sister property. People at the reception speak English well and are pretty helpful. There is... More

The hotel is a bit old. The twin guest room is a bit small and difficult to put suitcases and stuff, though comfortable enough for a short stay. Staff at the front desk have been friendly and helpful too. In just a few minutes walk from the hotel you will find the train station and the shopping street with shops... More

I've been to Tokyo for business trip a couple of times and with the type of budget the company is paying. There's a limit to the choice of hotel I can stay. Luck for me, this time round Yen price drop enough for me to book Dai-ichi hotel Annex. It's a older hotel but with nice big room. Service personel... More

I stayed here couple nights on june 2014. I love it because its clean and convenience . Only walk one block , ton of Japanese Restaurants there and Shops. Plus, they provide Shiseido Shampoo, body wash in room. I will stay here again in the future.

I loved the location, on a pleasant street on the edge of Ginza with Shimbashi metro station just 2 blocks away and plenty of really cool restaurants and bars within walking distance. It's also an easy distance from Tokyo Central Station so good if you are going to be travelling around Japan by train. The rooms are nothing special, but... More

I recently stayed here for a business trip. It was recommended because it was close to the office. The hotel was a big disappointment. It was run down on the inside. The carpets were very dirty in the elevators. The rooms seemed to have been newly renovated but they were very average. A nice touch though was the clean night... More
