We were very impressed with the hotel in every respect, top marks. A one minute walk from the Hanzomon metro exit 1 brings you the hotel which overlooks the Imperial Palace park and for us it provided a view over the park, $1M view and no doubt. The room size for the price is probably unbeatable, staff were very helpful... More

We stayed on the 11th floor and you can't beat the view from here over the imperial palace gardens and the sky line of Tokyo. We had a semi-double and I was actually quite surprised with the amount of space we had compared with other Japanese hotels I have stayed in. There was a choice between Japanese and Western breakfast... More

There are very few hotels in Tokyo with great views of the Imperial Gardens from the bedrooms-especially at cherry blossom time and in the Fall.Well appointed bedrooms (Western style or Japanese) with FREE internet and breakfast included for around $120 per night makes this a great choice.

My wife and I found a good deal online for a room at the Grand Arc Hanzomon. It is a classy establishment right in the middle of Tokyo that served our needs exceedingly well. Our room was clean and well-appointed and while no one would describe it as roomy, there was certainly enough space to move around and to store... More

In February/March this year, I visited Japan for the 1st time in order to take part in a run event. After a few searches on the net, my friends & I decided to stay at this Hotel which offers good discount. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, away from the bustling shopping district. It takes only 3-5 minutes... More

We found this hotel through expedia since it was having pretty discounted rooms, everyone mentioned how small the rooms were, however we found them to be just right. We are still here (check out on Monday) and we are having a blast. The hotel is centrally located, but in a quiet neighborhood right next to the Imperial Palace. Great small... More

This was our last destination in Japan and perhaps we have been spoilt elsewhere. Not value for money. Reception service and degree of helpfulness was definitely below par.

The Grand Arc Hanzomon Hotel in Tokyo was very pleasant. We paid a little more to have a larger room and it was well worth the extra money. The maid did a great job cleaning the room each morning. I recommend having breakfast at the hotel as it was tasty and inexpensive for Tokyo. Other than breakfast, the hotel restaurant... More

Here are my pros and cons of staying at the Grand Arc Hanzomon. (can be a pro or con) - Free high-speed wired Internet. - Laptop rentals from the front desk. - 110v electrical... More

We loved this hotel. The service was very courteous and everyone spoke English. We were upgraded to the suite and enjoyed a gorgeous view onto the Tokyo Tower for 2 weeks. We travel quite a bit to Japan and this was the best hotel. It was possible as Westerners with no Japanese language skills to experience a Japanese hotel and... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighborhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
