My wife and I loved our stay at this hotel. We agree with all the wonderful things people have to say. One thing that hasn't been mentioned but is so nice is that Hanzomon station has an ATM that accepts foreign cards. With Japan being a mostly cash economy, you need to have plenty on you. However, ATMs in general... More

Rooms are clean and modern. We stayed on the 9th floor so had a good view. Close to Hanzomon station so you can get anywhere easily. Vending machines on each floor. Staff are friendly, check in and out was a breeze. The bed is small (double) so beware if you are a little larger. Free wifi that works great. The... More

A seven week journey around the east, so needed the hotel to be decently priced, in which this was in comparison to a lot of other decent hotels in Tokyo. Location was perfect, metro was literally a 2 minute walk which lead directly into the city. Welcome was simple and straight forward as was check out. Would definitely stay here... More

A second visit to this hotel & the quality is still high. I was on the 15th floor with a great view over the city. The rooms are more spacious than so in Japan. The free wifi is reliable and if needed a laptop can be hired. For those who want a little more than the vending machines offer there... More

We stayed here at the start and end of our trip in Japan and it was absolutely superb! Really could not find fault in it. All the staff were very pleasant and polite (obviously, it's Japan), the breakfasts were simple but tasty and everything was spotlessly clean. The rooms were superb, very comfortable beds. All the amenities you need in... More

Ok hotel, not great but not bad. Air conditioning didn't work properly so even in December the room got super hot in the morning sun. Room was small and clean. We didn't need any bigger so this was fine. We had a small double bed which could have been more comfortable. Breakfast was a bit let down. No buffet and... More

The hotel is pretty much in the middle of everything. Great access to the metro (Hanzomon line) only 5 minutes walk from the hotel but also within walking distance of tokyo station (probably half an hour or so). The room is small but has everything you need (really if you are doing Tokyo right you wont spend much time there).... More

I have staid three nights at the Gran Arc Hanzomon Hotel. The room was not very big, but big enough for one person in the city of Tokyo. It's located next to the emporers Palace and the national state theatre. Only three hundred meters to get to the subway station of Hanzomon. It was very easy to get to the... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighborhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
