This is basically a hotel of very high quality. I would have expected a hotel of this standing to have been much more expensive. As expected in Tokyo, the room was compact but the view over the palace grounds was wonderful. It being a full moon, the view was equally spectacular at night. It's rare to find such a view... More

the price was fair, the room and the bed was really small but it was OK, the location was great, the breakfast was not open buffet but it was OK... I think this is the best value for money in Tokyo. No need to stay in Shinjuku!

Chiyoda is a quiet and pleasant residential district offering a selection of bars, cafes, restaurants and 24 hour convenience stores. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the underground station Hanzomon. The hotel overlooks the imperial palace gardens, and is a short and pleasant walk down hill into Central Nihonbashi and the central Tokyo rail station. A short underground ride... More

My partner and I travelled to Japan for our honeymoon this was our first stop. No one spoke English at all, so we translated via phone. When we asked reception if they could book us on a tour they said no. Our room was extremely small. the only highlight was the view.

The location was better than expected. The hotel was only 3 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes train ride to Shibuya. The downside is that you have to carry your suitcase up the stairs from the station if you are coming / leaving by way of the train. Otherwise, you can take a taxi to Tokyo station for... More

Stayed in a single room for 4 nights here and was very fortunate to get a room with a superb view of the Imperial Palace park and Tokyo skyline. I liked the location of the hotel, it’s just a couple of minutes walk from Hanzomon station and is located in a quiet area of the city. There is also a... More

It took me a long time to decide upon a hotel in Tokyo due to how expensive the city seems to be. I think I made a pretty good decision with this place. The location is good, the staff helpful and the hotel is clean and stylish. The only compromise was that our room only had a 3/4 sized bed... More

Made over night stay at Grand Arc. Got the train at Nagatacho at first, and then realized that Hanzoh-mon station provides much closer access to the hotel. It is almost adjacent to National Museum, and is accessible from/to most places near the Emperor place. Hotel is very clean and quiet. There are some restaurants around (incl. cafe). You may even... This hotel delivers excellent value for its price-range and is an "upscale" business hotel, probably compensating for its somewhat boring neighborhood near the imperial palace grounds, various embassies and government offices (including what seems to be police offices next door). It is, however, located near a jogging course around the imperial palace and few minutes from a subway stop, so... More

Directly across the road from the palace. Once you cross the road the loop around the palace is approx 5k. The walkway around the palace is perhaps 2 meters wide so lots of room and no traffic to worry about. Next door to the hotel was Tokyo FM, they seemed to have a sign outside advertising "JOGLIS" the Hanzomon runners... More
