After many years of decline, this hotel was torn down and completely rebuilt from the ground up. While here are probably some structures around the globe that don't warrant such an invest, I don't think that qualifies for post 1950's construction. This hotel is beautiful. It is centrally located and very close to the Tokyo train. From there you can... More

This hotel has much going for it. Nice style and design, quite new. Grand entrance and best location and outlook. The fittings are average quality but not of high standard. The bed hard and quite uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet quite appalling actually - everything was quite mauled actually. Many foods not restocked and buffet badly set out makes it feel... More

The new Palace Hotel opened a couple of years ago (I have been to the old one back in 2003) and finally I had a chance to visit it: This is a typical japanese 5* hotel with highest standards in regards of service. Rooms are spacious with large bath area and of classic, yet modern design. The unique feature is... More

We stayed in the deluxe room with balcony and club access. The best part of this hotel room is the balcony. The other characteristics of the room and hotel are not much different from other similarly priced five star high end hotels in Tokyo, such as the spacious room, the exemplary service, quality amenities in room, spacious bathroom (a small... Impeccable is all ways from the high tech but welcoming and warm room to the relaxing breakfast restaurant. The service is reflects the Japanese culture of hospitality, politeness and then some more The tempura restaurant is a must experience. Just divine. Having stayed at some of the very best hotels in the world including George V Paris, Mandarin Oriental LV... More

This modern, well located, well designed and well equipped hotel exceeded all my expectations (and they were pretty high). We stayed a total of two times over the course of two weeks for about 7 days total. On both visits we booked the standard room with club lounge access. I'll start by saying that the club lounge provided excellent value... More

This hotel was chosen for us by the travel agent at the train station during the typhoon when we needed a hotel near the Tokyo train station. The hotel is superb. Just a couple years old, very well designed inside and outside a very beautiful modern building near the Royal Palace. Staff hospitatily really exceptional, and plenty of employees to... More

Spent four nights in a deluxe room, booked thru Visa signature luxury collection.I got a great price match , free breakfast and room upgrade. Stayed last year at the Capitol Hotel Tokyu, and I thought that was the best. This hotel does cost more, but you get so much extra. The room is about the same size, but I prefer... More

The redesign of both the rooms and public areas is exceptional - very few places manage to combine style with practicality but the Palace Hotel does that in every way. This is exquisitely detailed design. The bathrooms are a sheer delight after a long flight. And the drawer holding almost every cable you'd ever need is inspired. I was here... More
