This is the second I stay in this hotel. And it didn't disappoint me this time too. Location is excellent just less than 5 minutes walk from JR and Metro station. Lot of restaurants and shops around which open til late. Great for traveller who love technology and amine as Akihabara is famous for it. This time we staying at... More

Stayed there for three nights. 5min walk fm akihabara station. I liked the hotel because it's new and clean to make you sleep well although it's a small room. The things which I don't like were the elevator ,too small to accommodate guests in the morning and only two elevator so obviously you ve gotta wait if you are in... More

This hotel is operated by a leading railway group with good equipments but its servece is not monitored or studied well. A smoking room was too much smell, stimulating eyes, somebody's shart was found in the bed, long queue at breakfast, juice bar machine nozzle scattered juice outside the cup. It seemed to be arranged only by thinking on the... More

Stayed here for three nights. It's a good hotel and you get good value for your stay. Only issue is that you can only use WIFI on two floors of the hotel (but there are laptop cables for internet instead). Additionally there are female non-smoking rooms which was the draw for me booking a room here. There is also a... More

This is my first time stayed in Akihabara. This business hotel is not too far from the subway station, so the location is good. The price is acceptable since I was staying by myself. They got everything you need here. I chose the Eco plan so got more discount.

I loved it! It is indeed a bit isolated, but that’s how I had a good sleep there. The home-like neighborhood will keep you away from the crowded and noisy Akihabara, but it won’t take more than 5 minutes to get you there. Compare to other business hotels I have been in Japan, I would say that the room is... More

We stayed here only for 1 night. We unfortunately had to stay in a smoking room, so the smell of stale tobacco practically lingered throughout. We could not stay due to hotel being fully booked. The amenities are good, but as is the case with ANY Japanese hotels in Tokyo, the room is cramped. Breakfast is unabashingly Japanese style, selection... More

The location of this hotel is amazing, close (3 mins walk) to the JR Akihabara station and the metro and monorail lines. What surprised us was how small the rooms were: we were first offered a double room we booked via email, but it was so small that we literally didn't fit, I guess the bed is 140 cm wide.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed there for shopping at Akihabara Electric town. This hotel is located just across small bridge, quieter place, little difficult to find but easy access to the shopping after you find the place. The room is normal size for Japanese hotel, which is very small. I liked the bathroom very much even it was also Japanese... More

Staying in Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda

Neighborhood Profile
Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.
