the single rooms might be small but they miss nothing. If the wifi is weak they'll help you. But the room has air con air cleaner, pants press, TV, well equipped bathroom, mini fridge, safe and washer dryer! I have no real complain. And the free breakfast was always well cooked. Will stay there again! Very helpful staff.

Decent hotel, was clean and fairly well equipped. Beds are comfortable. Location is OK, but there are better options in Tokyo. Bathroom is a bit small and felt like an add-in feature, but more than acceptable. Only complaint was the slippers- they give you used, reusable, leather ones instead of disposable new ones

We stayed at Tokyu Stay Kamata and Tokyu Stay Suidobashi within two weeks, simply to tour different parts of Tokyo while cutting down on travelling time. We are disappointed that Suidobashi does not have everything described in the generic brochure on the chain hotel: kitchenette and washer/dryer in all rooms. Additionally, there is complimetary breakfast at Kamata but not at... More

I was not expecting that much when I first book Tokyu Stay Suidobashi. But to my surprise, it was a good and clean hotel. The location is near Suidobashi station and just a few steps away from Tokyo Dome. The room is small but it was orderly. There was even a washing machine with dryer. Internet access is also available.... More

My five star rating is for the value of what you get for the price you pay. This is not a luxury hotel. It's a practical hotel: very comfortable, clean and peaceful hotel in a convenient downtown location. The rooms are compact, and they have packed the small space with everything you could possibly need, every square inch is well... More

Stayed 4 nights in 'Single room type A 15sqm' (kitchenette not included), noticed this was mainly a business hotel, with occasional tourists like me. Room was SMALLER than the impression the photos gave, but was alright for 1 person. Not much room for big luggage. Things I enjoyed during my stay: 1. Breakfast was simple with daily rotation of rice... More

Basically, it is very simple. I was not feeling well and requested for complimentary late check out and they wanted to 50% percent for two pathetic hours!!! Who will in the right frame of mind pay for it? All they care about is money and not service.

Stayed here for one night before a business meeting the next morning - thanks to the Tokyu Stay Suidobashi, I woke up the next morning refreshed, well-fed, and with newly clean clothes! Location is good, a short walk from the JR Chuo-Sobu Line, which is handy to get to Shinjuku, Akhibara, or make connections to the Shinkansen at Tokyo Station.... More

More

We booked this hotel for 3 days/2 nightsas we wanted a central location in Tokyo which is not too expensive. The room we took was twin beds, thus the room we got is probably bigger than other standard rooms in this hotel. They provide air purifier, aircon/heater, washing machine and kitchen counter with microwave oven. So no complaints on their... More

Staying in Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda

Neighborhood Profile
Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.
