This hotel has a small but modern room. Great shower for that long day. In a great location right next to train station, numerous restaurants, plenty of shopping and sights. Very friendly staff and English speaking. Helped me numerous times to guide me through city.

Exit from Akihabara Central Gate, turn right, look up and search the REMM sign on the building. Across Denny's, enter the small door with small REMM sign above it, take the elevator to 6th floor for the reception. Paid Y12000 for a double room. Room is small but clean. modern and functional with tv, ref, all glass bathroom, massage chair.... More

Stayed here with my son - but we had our own rooms (fortunately!) Worked really well as a single with carry on luggage only (I'm learning to travel light!) The massage chair was a wonderful touch - particularly after a long flight or a full day of walking. Comfortable bed, quiet room. Just what we needed for our first night... More

I become big fan of Remm Group after 10 nights last year in Osaka and Akihabara. Like the movie series, it is no longer love at first sight. Location is always perfect with train station next door. Service rating drops a bit. The most disappointing item is rain shower. It is no longer good as it was. Imagine I was... More

Love love love Akihabara in Tokyo. If you like anime, manga, electronics and toys, this is the city to consider for your hotel. The Good: - Close to major transportation lines - Close to major tourists destinations - Lots of shopping and restaurants - Close to two 7-Elevens - Good value for the money - Has air conditioner and heat... This hotel is conveniently located next to Akihabara station. The room is small yes but that's expected for Tokyo. I would strongly recommend this hotel and this area for anime lovers. It is quite lively at night. There are also small local restaurants around the hotel. The bed is quite comfortable. The hotel provides slippers and pjs and they also... More

Had a 2 day visit at this hotel which was nice and very close to the railwaystation, however the room I had did not suit anyone longer than 170cm and felt very uncomfortable. The bathroom had kind of the same problem so I recommend a different hotel if you are taller than 170cm

The hotel is in a brilliant location just next to the electric town and animae area. In terms of getting around the JR line, Hibaya line are next door and the Ginza line is a short walk away. The rooms are actually ok, obviously small but still a decent size and the befs are very comfortable and you get a... More

Located near the train station so it was easy to move around Tokyo area. Lobby at level 6. Small entrance just beside Starbucks. Typical small rooms per Japanese city standard but suffice for a single traveller. Might be a little small if you travel as a couple/family. Didn't book breakfast. Ate opposite at the Washington hotel restaurant.

Staying in Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda

Neighborhood Profile
Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.
