We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights, staff were extremely friendly, room was made every day and was always nice coming back to a freshly cleaned room after a day of walking. We stayed on the 12th floor and the view was lovely especially at night. Hotel is right next to the station with JR LINE which was highly... More

I stayed here for three nights and really wish I could have stayed longer. I was traveling to multiple cities during my visit to Japan, but I would have stayed in Tokyo longer had I known the hotel was as good as it was. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when I needed to transfer my luggage to... More

Small room but adequate, kind of expected per the Japanese standard, your lugguage will occupy quite some space of the room. It is a little pricier than other boutique small business hotel chain i.e. APA but the amenities and quality of the bedding are much better (including the towels and toilet paper). Nice touch since they have a massage chair... More

Located in Akihabara, It is approx a 1 min walk from the station. Because of its location it is absolutly perfect for shopping, you are litterally surrounded! Resteraunts and take aways are also no more than 30 seconds away from the hotel entrance. There is no ground floor on this hotel so if you don't like being anything higher than,say,... More

The hotel is located in a very convenient location at the Akihabara Station. When looking for the hotel, exit the CENTRAL Gate and go the right. Although the hotel is a separate building it seems to be attached to the train station. The hotel is tucked into the corner of the city block, you will not have to cross any... More

Had a fantastic 6 nights at this great hotel. Very clean and tidy with polite and helpful staff. The rooms are compact (like all hotel rooms in Japan) but are very well laid out, contain everything you'd need, and actually make for quite a cosy hideaway at the end of a busy day. The hotel is quiet and in a... More

Fantastic little hotel that's good value for money. It is literally right next to the train station and I can't ever remember hearing the trains. The surrounding area is Akihabara and has a very vibrant atmosphere all throughout the day. The room was minimal and did want for space but it didn't feel cramped for us. The shower / toilet... Room was super clean and bathroom was awesome. Loved the shower. It was big and had great water pressure. Great location in Akihabara. Close to transportation, restaurants, and entertainment. Really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful hotel, great location, just above the Akihabara train station. Very clean , very quiet, very chic and modern There are also numerous restaurants in the area. Do not be surprise, the room is small but it's Japan . VERY RECOMMEND !

Staying in Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda

Neighborhood Profile
Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.
