I am so please that we chose this hotel. It's clean (most important) friendly, great breakfast, great service, free wifi and it's so convenient to the train station. We will definitely chose this hotel again when we visit this great city again.

Finding a reasonably priced yet comfortable enough hotel in Tokyo in high season such as sakura blossom time can become a real quest unless you start your preparations several months before your travel. It wasn't my case last spring so I had to do a little research finding a good balance between price, location and comfort in a limited time... More

Close to the train station, the shops and some of the best gaming areas and restaurants in Tokyo. Breakfast was ok with a nice range and plenty of room. Checking in and out was a breeze. Washing facilities was minimal but at least they had some in house

English-speaking staff, very helpful all the times I needed. Very well-located hotel, a few steps away from 2 subway lines and convenience stores, comfortable room, good variety for breakfast, I had a very pleasant stay! I only wish there were more space for clothes, especially useful if you are on a business trip or staying over 3 days. Charge of... More

I liked everything about this hotel. I was in non-smoking room 402 with a view of the street. There was not a wiff of bad smell anywhere I went in the hotel. The matress was asia firm, but the most comfy of the 3 I experienced in Japan. The room was bright and clean, brighter than the above photos led... More

For 2 adults and 2 kids it was a bit of a squeeze in their largest room, but everything else was great. The location is less than 5 mins walk from a subway (with an elevator for heavy cases). Akihabara is also just a walk away, and so are the gardens around the palace. Its also easy to get to... More

This hotel like all B hotels is in a really handy area for trains and transport. It'sin a back street off a busy shopping area, rather pleasant. Our room did not have a window view, it faced onto a brick wall which was kind of strange but we did not spend much time there and it was comfortable. The staff... More

Rather small but clean and neat hotel. Located in business district and one block away from Yasukuni-Dori, a Big street near by. Thanks to this location, the hotel is very quiet in night time where you can sleep very well. The hotel has good access to several subway stations; Ogawa Machi (Shinjuku line), Awaji Chou (Marunouchi... More

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel, and wa had a really good stay. First, the location is good since it is very close to the subway. The rooms are clean, with a standard size for Japan. The equipment is modern, and the staff has been quite helpful. Only drawback is that it is not close to any major attraction.... More

The area south of Ochanomizu JR Station has a hodge-podge uses: offices, commercial, university, residential, and whatever. As such the neighborhood is kind of boring and there isn't anything to do at night (especially on weekends). However, sight seeing is what most people do anyways. The hotel is quiet and the staff is friendly. Breakfast was more Japanese than Western... More

Dear Paul7878, Thank you for your stay with us! As you mentioned, actually our neibour area could be boring especially weekends... Just people can go to many places from our closest station. Also we are happy to read your comment about our staff. Thank you for taking your time to write this review. We all look forward to seeing you... More

Staying in Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda

Neighborhood Profile
Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.
