I stayed in this hotel twice during a trip to Japan as a base in Tokyo. Location is perfect, Kanda station is a 10 minute walk away and the hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and looked after my luggage for the day after checking out. For both stays I had a semi double kitchenette... More

Although they do not clean your room whilst you stay (only replace the towels, kimonos and amenities every day), this hotel had very good sized rooms with storage space a plenty - a rarity for most Japanese hotels. Felt more like we had rented an apartment for the week! The only downside was the fact that the drain in our... More

Thank you very much for staying at HOTEL MYSTAYS KANDA. And we really appreciate your feedback. We’re terribly sorry about the bad smell in your bathroom. We will take care to check rooms more carefully with housekeeping staffs. As you said, we have rooms with kitchenet. If guests stay here for long term, we recommend them to choose one of... More

Hotel Mystays Kanda is a good, friendly, clean, budget hotel. For its price, the size of the room is very good and also includes a small kitchenette should you want to cook. It's located near Kanda JR Station (Yamanote Line), which is one stop from Tokyo station, or there's also the option to use Kanda Metro station on the Ginza... More

Thank you very much for staying at HOTEL MYSTAYS KANDA. We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed staying in Japan. As you said, there aren’t many restaurants around our hotel but guests can find good place to have a meal if they walk some minutes from our hotel. If guests have any plan to go to specific restaurant, we... More

The room and toilet is small but i think thats the standard for tokyo hotel. They have the coin operated laudry which really helpful for us. What i love about this hotel is the bed . The bed is good , duvet was marvelous and i dont even want to leave the room. The sheet and everything is clean and... More

Thank you for staying at HOTEL MYSTAYS KANDA. We are sincerely appreciated your comment and evaluation. We feel glad that you are satisfied with the room you stayed. We have 2 bed size in our hotel. One is "Semi-double" and the other is "Double". Some guests may feel Japanese bed small, so we recommend "Double" room for guests from other... More

This hotel has VERY small rooms, but I think this is fairly normal for Japan. Space is hard to come by. We had a small double bed, and by our fourth and last night there, we had enough of being in it! The hotel was fine for what we needed, we only spent time sleeping there, so the size was... More

Thank you very much for staying at HOTEL MYSTAYS KANDA. And we also appreciate that you mentioned a lot of impression of our hotel. Regarding the width of our rooms, we're terribly sorry for the inconvenience. Especially, for the guests coming from other countries, they feel the width of room and bed very small. It's difficult to improve it, but... More

The hotel was located just less than 10 minutes from a train station. I say a train station because there are several trains run by different companies so it depends which line you want and which station you are walking from. The hotel was decent, located close to a Family Mart so you can buy all you need, in case... More

Thank you very much for staying at HOTEL MYSTAYS KANDA. We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed staying in Japan. What kind of Japanese food did you have during your stay? It’s not so far from our hotel to ‘‘Tsukiji’’, a famous fish market. If you go there, you can enjoy having fresh seafood. Also, if you go to... More

We stayed here for several nights in November 2014. The people were lovely and friendly and helpful. It's best quality is it's good central location, very close to Kanda station. Nearby are plenty of 'corner shops' and small supermarkets and eateries during the day and night time, we ate at a local restaurant and got a great meal. the room... More

Thank you very much for staying at HOTEL MYSTAYS KANDA. We are really happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Were you able to make a lot of fun memories in Japan? Do not expect any level of luxury or pampered service - and you will find this to be an excellent well-equipped business/budget hotel. Conveniently located within walking distance to 3 train stations (Kanda - JR Ymanote and Ginza lines) , Kodenmacho (Hibiya line) and Iwamotocho (Shinjuku line), there are also lots of little supermarkets and excellent eateries around the hotel.... We stayed on this hotel because it was recommended by our guide to be a good hotel close to a lot of ski/snowboarding shops (so many in kanda, incredible). Thank you for staying at HOTEL MYSTAYS KANDA. And we do appologize for inconveniences among your stay. Our air‐conditioner isn't new so it takes 5-10 minutes to start to work. Staying in Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda

Neighborhood Profile
Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.
