So easy to get to from Narita, the Lungwood gave me an excellent large room, with very helpful attention from the staff... there is very useful food shopping nearby and the train station can easily take you to all parts of Tokyo. Noise from nearby rooms remains a problem (walls are a bit thin), but when I did complain about... More

Did not like location. Not tourist friendly area, close to train but not many restaurants, shops close by. Room smelled funny. Not very clean. Water stain on walls. No English news channels. Would not recommend

I stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend for 2 nights. I liked this hotel a lot, it was near to train station and it is a good place for living, if you don´t want to be in a room for a long time and want to see Tokyo during a day. Room was small but very normal and clean.... More

A lovely hotel, slightly out of the main city, although just around the corner from the Nippori Train Station. Very nice rooms, but very small, especially if you ask for a single room. Bath is roman in style,so you need to climb in, very dangerous for the elderly. My room had water created mould on the wall under the window,... More

We booked a semi-double bed. The room was small, but it had everything you would need: a small, but very clean and efficient bathroom with a heated toilet seat!, a mini refrigerator (this is is standard in Japanese hotels), a coffee-maker, a flat-screen TV, A/C, a closet, free wi-fi. We hardly spent any time in the hotel, but it was... More

Good business hotel. Right next to Nippori station. Get out of south exit. Caution steep stairs - turn right and first right opposite Family mart store. Reception has limited English. Small and clean standard for Tokyo room. U.S. adapters work without converter. Mystery dial near bed that says air control but does not seem to do anything. Didn't try restaurant... More

I have been to Lungwood a dozen times and would go back again on my next business trip to Japan. Solo travellers and couples without a lot of pretensions will likely find it a very reasonable deal for Tokyo. English language is not king here, however I have always well managed to get through. Standard single and double rooms are... More

I went to Japan for business and family holiday in the mid of September 2013. We chose Lungwood because of 3 reasons: i) one of the cheapest hotel we have surveyed, where we had 3 super single bed for family stay. ii) strategic location which we have easy access to Nippori station, just a 2 minute walk from south exit... Arrived on Friday and given a smoking room. They claim that no other rooms are available. Hotel should allow special request for non smoking rooms in advance or inform guests that they will give smoking room if non smoking room is unavailable. Smoke triggered my asthma and I'm unable to sleep all night. Also I cannot adjust the air conditioning... More

We had three nights at Hotel Lungwood, Check in was quick and friendly as we have come to experience with Japanese, it is a large modern hotel our room was very large which was a surprise after the small rooms we had previously experience, we did book a room for three which could have made the difference in getting a...
