Environment: Minami senju is a small residential area but it is quite perfect if you want to have a good nights rest. The Hibiya line where Minami senju is located, is really convenient because it's just one ride to great stops like Ueno, Akihabara, Roponggi, Ginza & Tsukiji & Naka-Meguro (for Yokohama). The room is tiny just slightly wider than the mattress on tatami. It also has a small television showing only Japanese channels, WiFi is available. The rooms are spotless with snowy towels and kimono. The shared showers and lavatories are also fantastically clean, but there are only two showers for two floors. I really loved Fukusen and my small and clean room with futon bed and rice pillow. You get free tea and hot water, the showers are good and there is a microwave in the lobby. But best of all was the staff – all of them. They were so warm and smiley all the time. They learned some words in... More

The hotel is not the best i've been in my entire life (looks talking) but to be in Tokyo was very very cheap (6000 yen for 2 nights). 4 minutes walk from the metro station.
