I stayed one night in this town in September of 2010. The town is the home the Chavin de Huantur ruins and also now has a terrific - but small -new museum. Most tourists visit this town as a day-trip from Huaraz. But it is a charming town - nestled in a beautiful Andean valley - that deserves more time.... More
