Had dined at this hotel/restaurant twice before, enjoying it, and decided to journey with my wife and kid after meeting one of the owners. The town is quaint. We enjoyed our time while we were at the hotel. I agree with the other reviews that it is more like a hostel than a hotel, but we are used to staying in lower mid-range accommodation, The owner and staff were very nice, breakfast passable and the views awesome. Don´t expect a luxury hotel,it a basic and friendly guest house to stay with your family and friends, strategic location for visiting Junin, Huancayo, Chanchamayo, where you can drive in one hour and enjoy the landscape, local food and costumes. The relationship price-quality is OK

We enjoyed our stay at the Normandie, but I definitely agree with the other reviews. There are cleanliness issues and this isn't a refined hotel. Both my wife and I have more than 40 years combined experience in the hotel industry and we found this "hotel" to be the worst ever: doors that do not close, bathrooms not cleaned, no hot water, extremely noisy and worst of all: after checking three rooms and tired of rejecting them, finally settled for a room that had mold...
