My group of girlfriends and I went to the Colca Lodge after hiking the Inca Trail. We could not have made a better choice. We flew into Arequipa, where we were picked up by a shuttle we hired (Colca Journey). It was a long (3.5 hour) drive, but well worth it. The staff at the hotel was gracious and incredibly... More

Perhaps we got a little spoiled by the excellence of the Peruvian hotels in general. Colca Lodge is extremely beautifully situated at a few kilometers from Yanque, has nice little cottages (with somewhat small bathrooms) , a beautifully kept garden, natural hot tubs. As a lodge it was more expensive and more stiff than the other (great) hotels where we... More

Very relaxing. The hot springs were great. Breakfast was the best with freshly cooked eggs and omelettes. Only downside was a rather chilly bathroom. Bathrobes were provided, perhaps they could provide slippers too.

We opted for the Colca Lodge for a two night stay whilst visiting the Colca Canyon. We were also drawn to the hot springs that we based down by the river and made good use of them in the evening. The rooms were basic yet perfectly adequate. Importantly they were clean and comfortable and we had no issues in sleeping... More

This was one of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed. The mineral baths warm and inviting with bar service to boot. The restaurant had good food and a nice selection. Service was excellent , we got a phone call from our travel agent and they ran the phone out to our room! Definitely plan to stay here more... More

We stayed at the Colca Lodge for one night during our tour of Peru. The road down to the lodge is frightening at times but you get there it is worthwhile. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant served buffet style for dinner and breakfast. The views are very nice and the hot springs refreshing. They keep the grounds... More

The hotel is very welcoming, beautiful surrounding, but the rooms are quite small but ok for one night stay. This time, my turn, I was sick with the altitude and had a very unpleasant experience during the night. we wanted to use the Spring pool, but I was so sick to move out of the room! Too bad we couldn't... More

We stayed at the Colca Lodge for one night during our trip. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were pleasant and noticing I was suffering from altitude sickness, we were offered some tea or water. Our room was very spacious and the king size bed was comfortable. It was also pleasantly quiet and relaxing. The bathroom was spacious enough, but... More

The hotel is excellent and the surrounding is beautiful. The restaurant offers excellent food and the breakfast was the best one we had in the 14-day-trip in Peru. The room is very clean and spacious. The staff at the reception is very nice and friendly.

Getting her was an adventure. A bit out of the way but we booked this as an upgrade with a bus tour we took from Arequipa going to Chivay and Puno. We stayed at the hotel only for one night, a shame. Book and stay longer if you can you won't be disappointed. We stayed in the suite with 4... More
