This is a perfect suite - upstairs and downstairs with views of the river and its rapids turning right before your room at the end of the hotel. Not only the location within the series of rooms of the hotel, but it has its own little pool with water piped from the thermal springs below. Sitting on your own balcony... More

Really good hotel set within beautiful grounds. The natural hot springs are an obvious highlight I could have sat in there all day. If your into the outdoors then you'll love this hotel. Loads to do, horse riding, alpacas, canoeing and walks. It's a bit out of the way so be prepared to eat in the hotel as you can't... More

The best place to spend time in the hotel, not only visiting the canyon. Excellent food (even considering that food is top in Peru), and the service was good as well. The facility has earned a 1st place award on a national hotel's and restaurants architecture contest. The spa is amazing, world class. The hot springs at night under the... More

This was a surprise hit during our trip to Peru April 2015. The resort is in a secluded location in the Colca canyon, adjacent to the Colca river. Location was just fabulous. Hot springs was nice but not big enough for huge groups of people. You could walk to the Colca river bank from the resort. At 10500 feet above... More

The BAD: We booked 2 nights via hotels.com and routed our travels all the way to the lodge from far away in Peru. Airfare, busses, taxis, 16 hours of travel and lots of money spent. Upon arrival we were told they couldn't accomodate our reservation for the second night. They told hotels.com it was because we booked with visa but... More

Dear Guest: We are glad you liked our hotel and service. Regarding your problem with the reservation, please allow us to tell you that this matter is out of our control since you booked trough Hotels.com. Several days prior to your visit our reservation department contacted Hotels.com and you regarding the booking confusion aroused, apparently, from a system´s flaw. We... More

In February 2014 I explored the Natural Wonder Machu Picchu. I experienced such an amazing journey that this past February of 2015 I continued my exploration of Southern Peru. I had the luxury of visiting Arequipa for two nights to acclimate to the high altitudes and then headed into the Colca Canyon. What started as a two night visit at... More

We booked the panoramic room and was well worth the extra price. It is two story unit with great views from the bedroom (upstairs) and from main floor. Room also has a private hot-tub and a nice setting area both inside and out. The hot springs and wonderful and do take the opportunity to have the bbq lunch down at... More

This is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful scenery and wonderful service. It was our anniversary and we got upgraded to a junior suite. The bed was so comfortable and the room had a nice view of the hotel grounds and river. If you are going to stay here, I highly recommend staying more than one night in order to... More

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lodge. The hot springs are located in a very unique setting beside the river with large rocks forming part of the pools and each pool having a different temperature. They also have a bar and open air restaurant right near the hot springs. The rooms were outstanding, modern and nicely decorated and... More
