We booked through Killawasi Lodge a trip from Puno to Arequipa including one night stay in the lodge and Colca Canyon tour. Everything was well organised and we did not have any problems. The lodge itself is very nice, clean, well kept, the room is huge, bathroom modern. The only thing which I dislike was the heating as it is... More

As I sit here , now back in Canada, I think back fondly to the delights of staying at Killiwasi. We were very warmly welcomed by Guillermo and Franklyn and made to feel at home right away. A great start as I had no idea what to expect in this tiny town of Yanque. We were here for 4 nights... More

This lodge was a relaxing little retreat during our trip to Peru. Very quiet and serene, a perfect place to unwind. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was huge! Bathroom was also clean and modern. We did the walking tour with Maria and her adorable dog, Oso. Very beautiful views along the way, highly recommended! The food... More

The hotel is situated just 3 blocks from the main plaza in Yanque. It has a beautiful view of the valley and it is just the perfect place to relax and take short treks around the valley. The room was the best we have in our holiday, super big and confortable bed. It was clean and nice decorated, the balcony... More

Comfortable rooms some with a great view from the veranda to the surrounding mountains. Some nice touches like hammocks on the lawn. The service is personal and friendly and nothing seems to much trouble. The restaurant is fairly priced and serves a variety of delicious Peruvian dishes. There were local walks/hikes into the mountains for no extra cost with the... More

With our already busy itinerary through Peru, we opted for visiting Colca instead of Lake Titicaca. By booking with Killawasi Lodge, we could really get into Colca Valley instead of taking a quick day-trip to Cruz del Condor. Guillermo was very helpful throughout the booking process, and even when we were delayed getting to Arequipa by one day, Guillermo was... More

If you go to Colca, stay for just one night. If you are at all short on time, skip it and go directly to Puno or Arequipa, depending on which direction you are heading. Killawasi Service: From all of the great reviews on Tripadvisor, we were expecting more; particularly on the service front. Sorry to say, our two nights here... More

Just on the edge of the tiny town of Yanque is the Killawasi Lodge. It is an easy walk to the main square and not much more to see the whole town. The people of Killawasi Lodge offer packages which include transportation from Arequipa or Puno, lodging at their hotel and breakfast as well as a guided trek in the... More

We booked this hotel because it offered a tour package, going from puno to arequipa. In the description on their website and email, they lead you to believe that it is a personalized tour, when in fact all killawasi does is book you on tour buses, something I would have done myself if killawasi had been honest and upfront about... We had a room with a lovely balcony perfect for watching the sun set over the Andes and drinking a cold beer....room was really lovely for the price.... And the owner really has gone the extra mile to make the place comfotable....Yanque itself is pretty dead....but for one night it's good to be a little bit closer to the canyons... More
