Accommodation was perfect- simple, charming mural (green room). The garden and views completed this tranquil, delightful retreat- a breath of fresh air away from normal life/ chaos. Food was ample and delicious. The room was clean, uncluttered, roomy, the bed comfortable- just as you would want it- home from home. :) Mel and Peter were fabulous hosts- nothing was too much-... Our well appointed studio ensuite came complete with tea-making facilities and hairdryer and with its own patio seating area suited our needs admirably. Our friendly hosts Peter and Melanie gave us good pointers for where to look for the fauna and flora we hoped to find which we used most successfully. The wider Berdun region has a natural and old... This is a great location for exploring this part of the Spanish Pyrenees. Great and very helpful English hosts. Very comfortable room with kitchenette. We can thoroughly recommend this hotel. Thank you Melanie and Peter.

We stayed here as part of a small birding holiday group at the end of April/early May 2014. The owners Peter and Mel have created the most perfect base from which to explore the stunning surrounding areas. Their hospitality, energy and enthusiasm for the nature around them is reason enough to stay here, but combine this with the hotel's superb... More

the owners peter and mel were excellent hosts providing first class service and assistance at this hotel/b and b. My wife and I were part of a group of 15 walkers who very much enjoyed the wonderful scenery in this very uncrowded part of Northern Spain. Excellent value for money.

Been to Berdun several times as it's a gorgeous little village perched on a hill overlooking the Camino de Santiago. The Casa Sarasa makes an ideal and very comfortable base to explore the gorgeous foothills of the Pyrenees as well as the lovely town of Jaca nearby. I would recommend taking their breakfast option, served in your room. The place... More

Stayed in Sept 2012 with a photographic/naturalist organised group activity. Everything was as described by 'selimap'. This year, again Sept, took the car to Almeria and returned via Pyrenees with my wife as I thought it a perfect place to stay. We stayed a couple of nights in th red room which was possibly larger with a sofa bed as well... More

My partner and I went as part of a nature watching group. Some facilities or services, especially food, may be different for individual bookings. The owners, Peter and Melanie, are very friendly and extremely helpful. For example, when I asked for a lemon to kept in the room for my tea, it was not only provided (with a knife) but... More

Stayed at Casa Sarasa for a full week. Thought Melanie and Peter were extremely friendly, helpfull and felt they went out of their way to make sure we had a good holiday. The food was superb, could not find any fault with that. Loved the setting and loved the pretty village. If you are looking for a place to stay,... More

Bedun is a small hilltop village in the Spanish Pyrenees about two hours drive from Zaragoza airport. This excellent B&B run by Peter and Melanie, provided comfortable accommodation, and huge continental style breakfasts. We were with a small tour, but they are very knowledgable about the area, and will give alot of guidance of where to go and what to... More
