Everything about this place was great, the host and hostess, the location, the outlook and closeness to the Rock, the sumptuous breakfast, the pets which behaved like our own pets, the value for money well spent. We stayed there in early July with 2 other couples and were just so pleased with our choice.

Great place to stay for Mont Saint-Michel, probably the closest B&B. You can walk to the site (we didn't due to the rain but it's about 5-10 minutes drive to the parking lot). I would recommend to have a GPS to find B&B (you'll see signs but closer to the destination). Big room(s), great breakfast, excellent hostess Marie-Brigitte. Tip for... More

Only a brief over-night stay, but would definitely stay here again. Hopefully, for a longer visit next time. Madame was very welcoming and enjoyable during our stay. She set a wonderful breakfast table, which turned out to be various breads and jams which she makes herself, along with the other regular breakfast items. Very nice family kitchen setting. She will... More

One of the most memorable places I have every stayed. It is in beautiful farmland but not far from Mont St. Michel. What makes the place very special is the owner, Marie-Brigitte Faguais. She speaks no English but was very tolerant of my awful French. The breakfasts are the idea french country breakfast: homemade bread and jams, fromage blanc, great... More

From the moment we arrived to when we departed, the service was exceptional. We had a fantastic, huge room, with a stunning view of Mont St Michel. The room was very comfortable with everything needed. The breakfast was fantastic; four different breads fresh from the oven, with a variety of superb home made jams. No heavy cooked meal. Excellent location.... More

We absolutely loved our stay in Ferme Saint Joseph near Mont Saint Michel. We spent two amazing nights with the most incredible views across the farm to the wonder of Mont Saint Michel. We were stunned when we first arrived with the view! There are picnic tables near the chicken coup where you can sit and enjoy cidre de pommes... More

We stayed here one night towards the end of September and had booked 2 rooms for 2 couples. We had upstairs rooms that were comfortable, spacious, clean and had amazing views of Mt. Saint Michel. The petit dejeuner (breakfast) was plentiful in terms of the most delicious breads and jams, and there were extra options of juice, cereal and yogurt.... More

We had a little trouble communicating , our French is not great , Marie's English is not great , no probs we got around it. Room was quite sizeable , view out the window of Mont st Michel awesome . Although the French countryside in the vicinity of Mt. St. Michel is still quite rural, the area immediately across from the island on the mainland is unfortunately quite touristy and overpriced. You can avoid all this by staying at the Ferme St. Joseph, which is on the other side of the narrow Couesnon River. The views from the property to... More

Located right across the Mont St Michel, La Ferme St Joseph s a friendly and convenient place to stay while visiting the Mont St Michel and Normandy Region. The room was simply furnished and we could see the Mont St Michel glistening like a jewel into the night from our window. Breakfast was amazing with fresh yogurt, fruits, and plenty... More
