I've read some reviews here......honesetly, we didnt find it that bad. basic, and walking distance to the abbey, and reasonable price. i'm not sure what some people expect.....we used the room to sleep and hold hands... ; )... As Londondana said above - please avoid this hotel!! We stayed in this hotel as part of our trip though Normandy, Brittany and the Loire and it was very disappointing and certainly not worth the price paid...(€96 for one night incl. breakfast). We had room 2 which was very basic - not even a painting on the wall to brighten... More

We recently stayed at Hotel Le Beauvoir. It was advertised as near to Le Mont St Michel, however it is well over an hour's walk. We were initially given keys to room 8, but while we were unloading the car the man from reception came out and asked for it back and gave us room 11. This had a view... More
