Have just returned from our fourth stay at Sandy Balls & what a fantastic time we had. Four of us stayed in 2 bedroom (one double room & one twin room) laid back lodge which was cosy & comfortable, very clean & well equipped. Service from staff we encountered was impeccable & when we requested extra pillows they were delivered... More

We stayed in a 3 bed laid back lodge, was a bit worried it would smell 'doggy' but, it was lovely. Immaculately clean and warm and cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lots of lovely walks and cycling. We hired bikes and the staff in the cycle hire were extremely helpful (mike). pool complex a bit dated and probably could... More

My family and respective partners spent a Monday to Friday break at Sandy Balls in the lead-up to New Year. We were a party of 10 in total, staying in 6-berth and 4-berth cabins. Accommodation The cabins we had were well located and just a few minutes' walk from the main Village Square. The 4-berth cabin was well sized, with... More

Having never been to sandy balls before I didn't know what to expect. I didn't need to worry. We had such a relaxing break. The caravan was very well equipped and toasty warm. Facilities on site where just brilliant. Thank you for a wonderful time.

I have stayed at Sandy Balls in a visa lodge several times now. We live an 1 hour up the road and often pack the car up and head down for a weekend in the countryside. Great for long walks, lovely swimming pool, nice country pubs for Sunday lunch and nearby town (Fordingbridge) down the road great for grabbing a... More

My husband and I managed to book a half-price week (a very late deal) at Sandy Balls in Lodge No. 115 from 22-29 December. We spent a very relaxed week there and we would have no hesitation in recommending the accommodation. I was recovering from an operation and therefore neither of us used the facilities on site, except visiting the... More

We were three families who stayed for 4 nights over the New Year. We all loved it, the caravans were a really decent size with TV, heating, full kitchen etc. Lots to do nearby, the joys of a good bracing walk at Abbottswell, a trip down to river on the campsite with a well marked trail, a riding centre over... We have just returned from a week at Sandy Balls as a family. We have a 12 year old daughter with various issues which mean that Christmas and family holidays tend to be disastrous. Yet this was our first successful Christmas and our first successful family holiday since she came onto the scene. This is a very big deal for... More

We have stayed at Sandy Balls on their camping pitches 3 or 4 times over the years. We went with a group of friends last Bank Holiday August and unfortunately it had gone downhill. The toilet blocks are now tired and not cleaned frequently enough for this busy period. The play field shown clearly on the map given on arrival... More

When we arrived at Sandy balls we thought what a great looking campsite,we got to our pitch and pitched our tent on a shingles (hard standing) pitch. When we woke in the morning all three air beds were deflated due to the shingle £200 worth of damage, when we had a word with the staff their attitude was tuff, now I've... More
