On arrival we were greeted at the entrance and given a map to show us where to go. Our lodge was lovely, better than we expected tucked away in a quiet location Beech Lodge 241. We went with our daughter and our Granddaughter ( age 2) the lodge has 2 bedrooms and a lovely bathroom with roll top bath an... More

Stayed in Wessex No.90...Monday to Friday. Spent the last six months since booking this site worrying that we had done the right thing after reading reviews from the odd few! What we found was a pet friendly holiday home that was set in beautiful woodland surroundings. Yes there were a couple of cobwebs - but so what?! Bet you have... More

Just returned from a holiday at Sandy Balls Holiday Centre, in the New Forest. It was fantastic! So much so, that we extended our stay. We stayed in one of their log cabins and were impressed by the facilities available on site and in the cabin itself. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making it feel like a real... The Vista lodge we stayed in was clean, well maintained and the views were lovely. The mattress on the double bed is getting a bit worn and the lodges are so close to one another, you can hear every word your neighbors say when you are out on your patio. There were loads of shampoo bottles, but no bath soap.... More

We stayed during the Summer and were really impressed with the New Forest area. We were not however impressed with Sandy Balls, despite being upgraded free of charge. We checked in (smoothly and quickly) and arrived at our 2 bed caravan to immediately notice it smelt musty, was grimy, mouldy and the wardrobes smelt of urine. Outside there were numerous... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay on a touring pitch. Had to pay a premium (to select the pitch) even though it was the only pitch remaining? This sets the trend for the place - everything seems to have an additional price I.e. Very little is included in the expensive initial price! Pitch was ok, though it hadn't been... More

My wife and I booked a three night stay in a 2 bedroom caravan and, bearing in mind the expense, was disappointed by the condition of the accommodation. The van is on site 104 and apart from being festooned in cobwebs is in need of either major refurbishment or replacement. It smelled musty and the bathroom floor has rotted under... More

Vista lodge 84 Having stayed in dog lodges for 30 years, so nice to have luxury & not feel like a second class citizen. Hope u release more of these in the very near future. The accommodation was amazing & view stunning. Staff couldn't do enough as we were with my 90 year old nan, especially in the beauty salon.... More

Have been staying at Sandy Balls for 13 years. Just come back from 4 nights with most beautiful weather. Arrived and booked Wiltshire caravan 144. It was as old as the hills. It stank of must/damp and very old cigarette smoke. It was cob-webby with a spider near the sink. The carpet (very unhygienic for a bathroom) was filthy, smelly... More

Have been staying here regularly for the last 15 yrs. Have always stayed in the Lodges but on this occasion we stayed in the entry level caravans to keep the price down. Unit 154 has a number plaque which states it's a Hampshire van which is wrong as it is actually a Winchester van. Upon entry there was an overwhelming... More
