My partner and I enjoyed a mid week one night stay here. It was great value. We had a massage together in the double treatment room which was lovely. The dinner was gorgeous and the breakfast offered a wide choice. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view. We will be back!

We booked the Love Life spa package for Sunday 30th Sept/Monday 1st October. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a friendly, helpful man who ran outside into the cold when he saw us trying to take a group photo at the entrance and offered to take it for us. The check in lady again was very helpful... More

We arrived with great expectations. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The drive up to and the entrance is rather non descript. Reception staff ok but not really friendly, quickly shown round but were not really told what was where, we had to find this out ourselves. The building although not old looks tired and public areas very cold, especially when walking... More

My husband and I travelled all the way from Scotland for a luxury weekend break to celebrate my birthday, was it worth it? Most definitely!! The hotel grounds are stunning, scenic and tranquil, a great place to relax and unwind. The hotel is very modern, clean and well laid out. We found the staff eager to please and they could... More

My husband and I spent a very restful and relaxing weekend at Lifehouse. The staff were friendly and helpful and the Spa treatments were excellent. Our room overlooked the lily pond which was in full flower and absolutely beautiful, as were the rest of the grounds. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious.

My girlfriend and I had a one nights stay here on the love life package and really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in room 42 which had a great view over the Listed Gardens, which were kept in excellent order. We arrived at 1pm which was two hours before check in and were given our room early, which was handy... More

We stayed at the Lifehouse a few weeks ago.....A Sunday/Monday one nighter. A treat for my better half for putting up with me!! I booked a love life package...inc 25mins massage charge at approx £55 (all over a bit too quick!!) and Dinner (which was well prepared and presented) The staff at both the spar and the restaurant were good!... We booked the Love Life package at Lifehouse (£99 per person for overnight stay, 2 course dinner, breakfast and a 25 min treatment). The deal was great, however the facilities and service were a let-down. We went as 4 tired Mum's needing some R&R, only to be woken at 8am on Monday morning by workmen drilling, sawing and banging outside... More

What a shame this spa hotel is so poorly run as it has great potential, the grounds are lovely, food very good and the room we stayed in comfortable and nicely renovated. However when we arrived at lunch time we were told that we couldnt use the spa until we had our room key which would be ready at 3... More

We arrive to the "spa" hotel and it turns out that all treatments are booked. There are 15 other people on the waiting list which rules out our chances to have any treatments during our 2 day stay. When we decide to go to the swimming pool we are welcomed by an overfilled Jacuzzi and a swimming pool where the... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Lifehouse and I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. The week ends are now very busy and as a result we encourage our guests to book all of the treatments they require in advance to avoid any disappointment on the day. Clearly you hit the swimming pool area at... More
