Two of us went to this Spa as a treat & had the Lovelife package with an overnight stay including 2 course dinner. We were picked up at the station & found the hotel & staff to be excellent. Our room was lovely with very good facilities, I found the spa itself to be excellent & our treatments (massage &... More

Booked from website and got a deal. Easy to find and as I have a Blue Badge there is parking by the entrance , otherwise the parking is a short walk from reception. We arrived just before 15.00 and had to wait with others for the rooms to be finished. We had paid to upgrade and were in the second... More

A very peaceful 2 night stay at this beautiful (adults only) hotel. Our room had a Juliette balcony overlooking a lake and garden. The windows opened fully so there really was a feeling of 'letting the outside in'. Wonderful grounds where guests could wander in the towelling robes supplied by the hotel. We loved the combination of old red brick... More

It was a lovely hotel couldn't fault the rooms, bit of a bad experience, booking in and leaving, very busy at front desk, not enough staff, even though the ones who looked after us were good, the only complaint that we would make are the prices of the treatments, very high prices, when you look at other Spas, and I... Stayed on night b/h weekend. Hotel is attractive, rooms are nice and service was good. It's certainly not cheap, but we used the pool and steam room etc. on both arrival and departures day which was nice. The grounds are attractive, and there's plenty of wildlife etc. It's close to the sea at Frinton and Walton (less than 10 minutes... More

Great location and fabulous staff. Whilst appreciating that it is a spa hotel you will need to bear in mind that the dining area is loud during breakfast ( almost cafe like) and not really fine dining at night. That said the staff are gorgeous and amazingly helpful. Would have liked a little help with luggage but that is just... More

We got back from a 4 night visit to the life spa 2 weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were all fantastic and can't do enough for their guests. We had a lovely garden room which over looked the lake, highly recommended. The one issue with the rooms is that there is no air conditioning in... More

Went to life house for our "hen " do and all I can say is what a waste of money!! Pool had sand at bottom and things floating in it! ( how when beach is quite far away) staff were rude including management! Lunch buffet was ok if you were a size 0 and not allergic to anything! Milkshakes were... More

Just returned from a 3 night (4 day) detox programme at the amazing Lifehouse hotel and spa. From the start, people there were lovely and so welcoming. The pool area, sauna and steam rooms are great, though the hydro pool can be very busy so found it best to go early or later in the day. The grounds are beautiful... More
