This is a pleasant hotel. The rooms offer many little well thought-out details, like the lamps and the bathroom, the only complaint: there was only one chair to sit down and have a good read when it is raining outside. The breakfast is outright delicious, fruit salad, yoghurt, very good bread and croissants and a rare occasion in France: cheese... More

We had three nights at the Hidden Bay Hotel, it was great. We received a warm welcome from Marie-Helene and we were very happy with our room, which was modern and spotlessly clean, as was the en-suite. The dinner menu included fresh turbot and squid which was cooked beautifully. Breakfast was a luxurious and leisurely affair, service was excellent. We... More

The best welcome and overall friendly atmosphere thanks to Marie-Hélène and her team. She is helpful in all details of our four days stay. Kind with the childrens, good at ccoking and giving lots of tourist information. The rooms have a nice design and the Jazz concert and the belgian beers werewas a plus. To be recommended

The small hotel is located amidst a real french seaside village and has been renovated one year ago. The nice architecture, the state-of-the-art design of the rooms, plus the beautiful café and restaurant saloon are a positive surprise. The service and the team are great and support you for everything to be managed. Breakfast is great, nothing one can miss,... More

Cayeux sur Mer on a wet October weekend is not everyone's ideal break. However, this is a super place to make the best of it. Historic style French cafe downstairs with chic, modern, rooms above. We slept well but most of all, we ate well with the Coquilles St. Jacques and a world class chocolate dessert commanding special mention. Extensive... More

What a very apt name for the place! Drove past it three times until we spotted the name on the door, as it mainly goes by the name au petit cafe!! However that said what a delight it was, modern chic bedrooms, fantastic food all wrapped up with great service and friendly staff Top marks all round!!!

I must confess that, if I were driving through Cayeux sur Mer looking for a hotel at which to stay, I would not have chosen the Hidden Bay as from the outside it looks very unassuming. Fortunately however, I booked on line after reading the reviews givenl. On arrival, we were made to feel extremely welcome by the fantastic staff.... More

Location - Great. Within 2 mins walk of the beachfront in the centre of Cayeux. Service - Excellent. You are treated like a house guest. Rooms - Very cosmopolitan. The sort of rooms you would expect to find in a chic city. All very black and white with designer touches at every turn. However, for some there-in may be an... More

What a place to stay. You have an ultra-modern hotel above a beautifully restored restaurant and bar. The bedrooms are wonderful, all white, stylish and modern. There is a walk-in shower room to die for, with a shower head which is located way up on the ceiling. A small lift is useful when taking your suitcases/bags to the rooms. Also,... More

My very pregnant wife & I stopped over on our return to the UK. As an owner of a Brasserie I couldn't find a fault. There is an excellent mix of staff, all of whom are confident & relaxed. We sat through the afternoon outside & read some much neglected summer reading over a few drinks, then returned downstairs for... More
