The owner/receptionist was very welcoming and didn't waste time in getting us checked in. The room was newly refitted and the shower is noteworthy for it's powerful jets and functionality. The room was small but well appointed, and we both slept well on the new mattress. Breakfast was correct, nothing more. The dinner was excellent, the service was good and... More

easy walk to the beach. Great service-owner spoke good English and was very hospitable. The shower was an experience-two shower heads and little jets built into the front that make for a lovely massage! I recommend eating here in the evening-dont waste time looking for anything else, it won't be as good :). Room clean & spacious. Great stay

Booked into this last minute as we decided to head from the seaside on our way back home. The town is very lovely and a traditional seaside location. The Neptune is located in the centre of the village and staff were very friendly. Poor sleep due to music festival playing dance music until 2am which the staff did not inform... More

Booked this for overnight stay fairly close to Channel Tunnel. Easy to find with parking nearby. Room was smaller than expected with room for only one bedside table. However it was fine for one night and spotlessly clean. The shower room appeared to have been refurbished recently and had an extremely efficient shower. The wifi connection was fast and there... We found this hotel as a stopover on our way back to Calais. The hotel is very basic but central in Cayeux-sur-mer. There's not much to do in the town itself so I wasn't a big fan of the whole experience. Our room was a family room - on the top floor with no lift. With lots of stuff for... More

If one is coming or going from the channel ferries/tunnel this hotel provides the perfect night stop. It is located just over the hour south of Calais and is situated within yards of a quiet but pretty little sea front and close by the shops of this small town. As the name implies the entire building carries a nautical theme.... More

Situated in the centre of the sea side village, it has a gourmet restaurant that serves excellent but quite pricey meals. The bedrooms are approach up winding wooden stairs, the room we had seemed to have been recently redecorated, with a seaside mural painted on the wall. The bathroom was a little strange a shower cabinet with all the plumbing... More

We found this hotel to be so much better than we expected for its rating. The room was charming with good facilities and the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The meals in the restaurant were as good as anything we have experienced in quality and presentation. We really enjoyed our stay.
