It is ok but the person in charge of reservations believes it is an excellent hotel and the only one in town. It took me three emails to get an answear regarding an available date and quotation. I believe there are better hotels with better service and attitude and a fairer cost for value.

Cozy and warm Hacienda like Hotel, clean and functional. Close to the main Plaza and church. Good breakfast. They also own the best restaurant/bar in town, ask for your guest discount and enjoy a great night. Take the tour to the grottos and cascades, they are awesome.

We were the only guests for 3 nights in October 2010. Our room (#17) was rustic, but clean. The shower had great hot water and lots of water pressure. A nice capable ceiling fan (always on high though) cooled the room when needed. Restaurant wasn't open. Loved Cuetzalan and its people! We will return someday and will stay here again.

This is a very charming family-owned hotel, converted from a former beneficio de cafe right in the middle of town.
