I think I payed €40 for b&b, which you can't complain with, friendly bar staff down stairs and good food but very basic, small bedrooms. If you're a light sleeper ask for the 3rd floor, the beds are right over the bar so if it's the weekend it can get quite loud. All in all it alright, nothing special, the... More

On a pre-Christmas visit to "The Town I love so Well". Pre booked table at Crotty's. Lovely table reserved with Kevin was welcoming by cosy fire. Also pre ordered Scampi, and although not on menu, which was seasonal, being Christmas. Never the less, Scampi was made available for me. Beautiful!!! Served with medley veg and potato mash, with crab. Rib-Eye... More

We stayed the night in the B&B. We didn't realize we had to climb two sets of stairs to the rooms. Just note that if you are traveling with senior citizens. The rooms were clean and provided a good night's sleep. The pub had wonderful food and I recommend the WIld Mushroom Tagliatelle.

We arrived here in Kilrush looking for a nights accommodation. We were very impressed with what we found. A traditional pub in the centre of town, very friendly staff and a warm welcoming atmosphere. The room was spacious and clean. We requested a twin room. The room had a queen and a double bed with plenty of room to spare.... More

What I would expect of typical pub. Booked late so not sure but room was small. Breakfast to order was very good. Kevin, the proprietor, was very attentive. Lovely dinner in the pub downstairs - definitely have the salmon; any of the salmon dishes were yummy

If you like Irish hospitality, Guinness, Irish music, good company, and great food this is the place for you. We got a wonderful welcome from Kevin & Rebecca the owners and felt part of the family in no time at all. The barman Jack was also great and looked after our needs, real customer care! The rooms are not the... More

On another visit to the lovely town of Kilrush, we once again went to Crotty's Bar for a meal. The Summer Menu had a varied selection of fish, meat and Vegetarian dishes. I ordered Seafood Platter and to my delight it was beautifully presented. Generous portions of crab meat, smoked salmon, prawns, homemade coleslaw, cherry tomatoes all on a light... More

Fantastic pub with great food and a warm welcome. Beautiful rooms and a great place to stay. Probably the best Guinness and Irish coffee we had on our tour too!. The pub is full of character with lots of interesting "snugs". Food was hearty with generous portions and very reasonable. The rooms are beautifully decorated, reflecting the overall charm and... Our 1st day in Ireland met with a warm welcome from Rebecca one of the owners. Gave us a choice of rooms. We took the one in the back (she mentioned it may be quieter from the pub sounds). It was. Did not hear a thing. Bed was comfortable. If you have any issues climbing stairs this wouldn't be for... More
