When we arrived at the hotel, we were stunned to discover the beatiful grounds in which it is set. The only problem at the beginning of the holiday was the weather, but the staff were very accommodating, helpful, and made you feel at home. Arrived in Rome late pm and didn't want to stay at an airport hotel. Roughly 32 miles out of Rome is this wonderful 4 star hotel. The Borgo di Sutri is a wonderful four-star hotel on the outskirts of the Etruscan-Mediaeval village of Sutri in southern Viterbo province. There are lovely double rooms and five suites, the latter I would definitely recommend. The buildings originally formed part of an aristocratic country estate, including a little church.
