We spent a weekend of September in this wonderful hotel. The cleanliness of the room and the decoration is perfect. The service is very familiar and you feel like home. The breakfast is healthy and plentiful. We will repeat the visit next summer. Thank you Joseba for your welcome!

Gaintza B&B is a small hotel with charm situated on the hills of the Cantabria Sea, surrounded by vineyards of Txakoli. The hotel is a new addition to our cellar and dining room. The dining room is only open March, April & May during the Txakoli season, wine tasting along with a menu of typical dishes from the region can be tasted as well. (reservation is required). The hotel is a perfect get away for those searching for: a place to relax, be in contact with nature, and enjoy the tranquil views, away from the city noises. Gaintza B&B is located only 10 minutes’ walk from the fishermen village of Getaria, a village well known for its traditional costal quality such as quality restaurants of sea food, niece beaches and spectacular coastal views. Near by is the new Balenciaga Museum, the beaches of Zarautz, Zumaia and Deba are at a few kilometers. The roman path of “Camino de Santiago” goes by our hotel. There are many touristic attractions that can be arranged from the hotel reception. Getaria is 20 minutes from San Sebastian also known as Donostia. Bilbao is only 1 hour away.
