We checked in last minute. The owners warmly welcomed us. The room was very clean and spacious for two. We went out for dinner to the various places recommended by the owners. Choice was difficult because most of the places had what we wanted but we couldn't eat at all of them. We had a glas of wine and tapas... More

Despite the weather hiccup, our stay here was incredible. Hosts were nothing but welcoming. First class service for affordable price. They were always keen on providing helpful tips right down to planning and providing alternatives for the unexpected rainy day. Would definitely go back!

Found this great little hotel by accident . A bit hard to find even with GPS. But we'll worth the effort. Breakfast on the deck overlooking the ocean was beautiful. The rooms were clean and modern. The location was perfect for exploring and. The off season rate great on a seniors budget.

Stayed here on 8th and 9th September 2013. This is a family hotel run by people who take great pride in their hotel and their work. Right in town beside bars and restaurants. Spotlessly clean, great rooms, free parking nearby. Great breakfast, really enjoyed my stay here.

I stayed at this lovely little hotel on the way to Santiago on foot. It was easy to find and is located in what feels like the older part of the town. My room was clean and charming and breakfast on the terrace looking out over the sea was delightful (but bring a jumper!). My hosts were pleasant and helpful... More

This hotel on the edge of town is run by a very friendly family. We had booked for three nights and were given a nice room, but overlooking the road. Soon after, the lady came and offered us an upgrade to a bigger room overlooking the sea. Very nice of them. The homemade breakfast is on the balcony overlooking the... More

The hotel is located near a very nice beach. The service from the reception is nice and the room for a 1 star hotel are great and modern (no international TV) but the price is also great but as it is only a seasonal business it is fare. Avoid room on the 1 st floor such as 103 as you... More

We had a delightful stay - room 304 was definitely worth the splurge. This was our most expensive hotel on our trip...perhaps a bit high, but I suppose that you are paying for the location. The room was large and had two balconies - one small, town facing balcony (well, facing the busy road below) and one large balcony that... More

Delightful family run hotel in centre of Getaria. Rooms are tastefully furnished and the bathrooms exquisite with space and fantastic shower. Even super bath toiletries. The decoration of the hotel is a real success mixing old and modern design. The family are so friendly and an amazing breakfast on the terrace with breathtaking views. Breakfast is delicious and the best... More

We stayed in this little family hotel during our visit to Getaria and the surroundings. We follow the comments on Trip Advisor and booked for our short holiday. I believe that mother and son run the hotel, and fortunately the son speaks a bit of English and his avelable for the majority of the day. The Matrona is very sweet... More
