I was invited there for business purposes. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the diner has plenty of character, as well as the building itself -it's a monastery. There's a fountain pouring water, perfect for relax. The room was average and no Wi-fi in-suite. However, the overall experience was very positive.

Stopped off here whilst touring the Pyrenees by Motorcycle, what a fab and convienient place to stay. Sat Nav took us to the front door, the hotel is up a hill and looks out over the town - which is Only a five minute walk into the centre. the hotel is a converted Monastery which has been really tastefully done,... This is the third time we have stopped here en route to the Costas Dorada from Bilbao and Santander. It is a beautiful convent converted into a hotel and prices are very reasonable - about 50 Euros a night for 2. Have a wander around the old square, a few meters away and find yourself a Tapas Bar. I shall... More

We take a break most times when travelling from the Eastern Med on our way to Bilbao. Miranda de Ebro is a convenient place to have a stop over en Route. Hospederia El Convento was a delight, as it is a converted Monastery. The rooms were very good with free WiFi, no problems at all if you are looking for... More

I stayed here in 2012, it is a beautiful place to stay, although if you stay in the summer and it gets hotter than the average temp, you will sweat, they do not have air conditioners in the rooms (average temp is in the 70's-80's in the city), i was here for 2 weeks...they don't have swimming pool or gym,... Arrived after dark to this imposing convent on the hill up a sloping gated driveway into unique accommodation. Suite room on the first floor, down dark passages with push on lights, quite spooky. Room was very large and clean although not a good view given the small windows of the convent but not a problem. Quiet room with good air... More

We stayed one night in this beautiful former convent. The place was far from being fully booked, so you might experience something different in peak season. We had a wonderful time in a very restorative and tranquil setting. The perfect place to stay if you attach great importance to calm sourroundings (hard to find in spanish hotels). Wi-Fi didn`t work... More

A very different place from our usual stopovers - an imposing building overlooking the town, as you would expect quite grand in its design and decor. Large public rooms with huge paintings and tapestries surrounding a central courtyard with seating areas. In addition there is a well tended terraced garden which was very peaceful. The bedroom was quite spacious, comfortable... More

Just a fabulous setting in a converted Convent. We were just staying one night en route for the Mediterranean having driven from the ferry at Santander. We wished we had allowed longer to have a good look around. Good, safe private parking ( important when using own car full of necessities for a 6 week holiday) Receptionist very helpful, room... We arrived on Tuesday March 26th to be told by reception "We have not opened the restaurant yet but we may do by next weekend"!. NOT what the website informed us at time of booking. Room was palatial and warm. Breakfast was reflected by a lack of a restaurant, sparse and unappetising.
