We love hotels like this: authentic, comfortable, with history and a bit of modern design (the restaurant). The rooms are lovely and quiet with comfortable beds and a great shower and they overlook a gorgeous garden. It's all perfect. The owner is extremely nice and she was very accommodating, offering us a late check out with a big smile. Excellent... More

We had a very enjoyable 9 nights at the 18th Century Caserio de Mozaga which is situated in a rural area in the middle of the Island but within walking distance of two small supermarkets, one with a filling station. Our accommodation was a very comfortable suite of bedroom, sitting room and bathroom accessed from a picturesque courtyard. Our high... More

We stayed for two nights at the beginning of Feb and found it a very comfortable hotel. It was cold while we were there so felt we didn't experience the hotel at it's best. there is a communal lounge area with a log burner which was great. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is that I hadn't... More

we stayed a week in the suite in the main building which consists of a bathroom, sleeping room and sitting room. This is an old mansion and decorated in a pleasant rural way. Don't expect much modern luxury though, it's really rural and a bit faded, but still chic in a sort of grandmother style. Can be a bit chilly... More

It was chilly when we arrived and there were fires blazing in the shared sitting room and the restaurant which made for a great welcome. This small hotel ( 10 rooms ) gets full marks for food, staff and owner. We were treated like part of the family. We stayed in a suite which made the stay even more enjoyable. Mozaga is also ideal for touring the island due to its central location. Give our best wishes to Maria Luisa.

This is just the kind of property we love: smaller, charming, attractive, quiet, well-located. Attached is a restaurant with excellent food, acceptable local wines and very good service.
