We had a very pleasant time here. The village is in a remote spot and springs to life when the ferry is in otherwise it is all very peaceful. The history of the village is interesting and there are some good walks nearby. The fish restaurants are excellent and very good value. The design of the hotel is good in... More

Lovely hotel in a beautiful little fishing village, totally unspoilt, and with amazing fish restaurants, in the north of the island of gran canaria. Lots to see and do in this area, and the main road from las Palmas is very good well worth a visit.

We arrived here after spending three nights at the island's Parador and the entrance area/reception was a bit shabby by comparison. But our room, although on the small side, was clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a large private terrace. The hotel's interior design was actually quite stylish, in the manner of an ocean liner, and staff were... More

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, as were all the people we spoke to in town. We walked into our room and it was spotlessly clean (bathroom was brand new and felt truly clean - no grime no oldness) and had high ceilings king sized bed and a cute sitting area. We spent literally 4 hours in the thermal... More

Nice rooms and bathrooms, but the overbath shower is terrible - the pressure and temperature vary continuously. Excellent breakfast at first, but the pain au chocolat and croissants were not replaced. Hotel has a spa (free to guests but the indoor pool isn't for swimming), and if you want a bathrobe you need to get one from the spa. The... More

Excellent breakfast - Just hoping quality of this hotelis maintained under new ownership by manager of Dode de Dios - Great pity the Faneque restaurant was closed for lunch and/or dinner a little... We stayed at this hotel in March 2011. The staff were friendly, the rooms were good and clean (although looked a bit worn), breakfast was very good, and the spa was most relaxing. There isn't a great deal going on in Puerto de las Nieves, which is good if you don't like lots of tourists. The restaurants are numerous. Try... More

Very highly recommended for people looking for a small friendly but quality serviced hotel at a price better that expected, tremendous value for money. The bedrooms are situated over 2 floors, the 1st floor being large rooms with sitting area's, the 2nd floor large rooms with a large outside balcony, sun chairs etc. The hotel interior an interesting modern almost... I spent 4 days in Agaete for a short break, come to this hotel by chance on the net and decided to reserve here. Very well done. The staff is very helpful (20 minutes after having sent an e-mail asking for directions from airport to Agaete, I had the answer back with everything very well explained). The room was large,...
