We stayed at this hotel in February this year. After researching Gran Canaria we chose the north of the island due to the stunning scenery and this hotel looked to be the perfect choice. On arrival we were welcomed in the pool bar by a very friendly waitress who certainly did make us feel welcome. The breakfast each morning could... More

A perfect holiday hotel with heaps of extras, an excellent restaurant and friendly, helpful and competent staff. Our room had a balcony with sea view. The room was a very good size with a queen size bed, large sofa, armchairs and a writing desk. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide range of hot and cold food. The evening... More

Well positioned hotel. Clean and well maintained. Enjoyed extensive breakfast choices. Great aspect looking out to sea on hill. Bracing 15 mins walk along well lighted path to some excellent fish restaurants - la Capita the best. We enjoyed the walking up the Agaete Valley. Hotel staff very happy to help with ideas. Windy Weather makes it better for an... More

Stunning rooms and views. The ground floor rooms lead straight onto the pool. The staff are friendly and helpful but don't all speak English. The restaurant is across the road and offers a champagne buffet breakfast. The evening menu changes daily and gives access to a starter, side and dessert buffet when you purchase a main course.

Staff are Prill could not fault them....But the Breakfast was just Luke warm every morning ..You can ask for fried eggs and scrambled eggs not a problem.... A twenty minute walk down a steep incline at the back of the hotel will take you down to the esplanade and onto the Port ware you can sample the many of the... More

We stayed for two weeks at the end of January/February 2015 and the hotel definitely has some pros and cons. Overall we felt the positives outweighed the negatives, as follows: CONS - If you are on a package deal then you have to pay extra for the Spa. 26 euros per person per 90-minute visit (visits are timed to keep... We checked in at about dinner time, and being tired for exploring the area, we opted to have a meal at the hotel facilities. Awful ! The breakfast the morning after was even more dreadful. The worst canteen food I ate was 100 times better. The other big let down is the SPA, 31 euro entrance fee for 2h and... More

The hotel is OK and nice placed directly to the sea. The service expected for a 4 star hotel were at a low level. The evening food served was tasteless, small portions and boring. Not expected for a 4 star hotel. A small harbour with some restaurants and a small city nearby. The area/city are calm, nice for a few... More

The hotel is not in the town of Agaete, but at the top of a pleasant, but steep, cliff walk from Puerto de las Nieves. This walk is not suitable for a woman on her own in the dark. The hotel breakfasts were the usual 4* hotel fare, though the lack of a freshly made wholemeal bread was disappointing. The... More
