We spent a week at Roca Negra, and on the whole, we were very pleased. Our room was very big, the view from our balcony was breathtaking, and the area was quiet and peaceful. There's no staying in this hotel without a car, but rentals are affordable in the Canaries. The staff was very friendly, but there was a general... More

I stayed in this place only one night, but was very suprised because of great service, staff and accomodation quality. First of all, the hotel is situated in beautiful port village near cliffs. It is very atractive for someone looking for calm and being far away from civilization. Second of all, in very good price me and my friend got... More

Roca Negra Spa Hotel. A very relaxed place, amazing setting overlooking the sea & cactus gardens. Spa, much fun, bubbling around, laying in salt pools, ice cold bucket of water chamber! The breakfast buffet is pretty nice, I requested the Huevos Frittos as the scrambled eggs looked very odd! The fruit & croissants all great to get the day motoring.... More

We were on holidays at Roca Negra Hotel & Spa in the end of October. It was a great relaxing stay. Hotel is perfectly positioned and planned: almost all rooms have ocean view. Unfortunately, there was no chance to swim in the ocean, as there was no beach linked to the hotel, and generally there are rocks all over the... More

We spent 2 nights at Roca Negra and had a very relaxing time: Agaete is a nice small seaside village and the hotel, despite its size, blends in well, the walk down the cliff to the natural pools and the village centre. We really appreciated the spa and the pool. We were off season so the hotel was very quiet.... More

The three levels are built using the natural feature of the cliff with the reception area on level four. Ground floor rooms have pretty individual gardens giving directly to the pool but the top level has the superior rooms which are huge with a balcony offering great views with stunning sunsets. The spa is excellent and I had the best... More

We spent a week at the hotel, 7 nights to be precise. Beautiful setting, gorgeous view from the hotel, from the room and terrace and even from the lobby. Large, spatious rooms, clean, tidy, with a little minibar and daily fresh bottled water for free, large terrace. The pool and whirlpool is free of charge, but the spa area is... More

The hotel is located in a fantastic spot with amazing views. Very quiet. This is exactly what we were looking for, so we were very happy. Nice staff and spacious rooms. Our was a Superior Room, which includes the access to the Spa. Had a great Aloe Vera treatment.

And so, the Hotel Roca Negra. A soulless testament to the exuberance of the pre-2008 housing boom. Perched in the midst of a joules new-build housing estate, the hotel is a nostalgic flashback to all those 1970s package holidays we all hated so much back in the day. Two bars that could suck the fun out of pretty much any... More

Nice rooms, good setvice, a bit asleep in winter but with great resting and regeneration We liked that. Set in the north in a calm place near the harbour, with cute little restaurants in walking distance. The rooms have a beautyful view and are spacious. It includes a spa, so great for relaxing in calm surroundings. All is clean and... More
