This was my first stay in a Parador hotel & it certainly did not disappoint me. We were greeted at the reception by 2 lovely gentlemen, 1 of whom showed us to our room. We then dined in the bar area & had an absolutely top of the range Club sandwich & hamburger. The food was certainly not overpriced &... More

This is a newer hotel than the other Paradors we stayed in in Spain. It was in this quiet town that is on the path to Santiago de Compostelo so you see many hikers and bikers on the pilgrimage way. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the center of town. The people at this Parador couldn't have... More

Stayed here one night on Camino trip. Was expecting a parador to be an old, interesting, renovated building but it's just a modern hotel with no ambience. Staff were most unfriendly. Totally preoccupied with getting us to sign forms. Didn't even offer to take our luggage to our rooms & it was quite obvious that we were exhausted after a... More

The hotel is very modern which is very hard to find in this region. The location is good. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially at the reception. The choice of food for breakfast was not so good. the rooms were really nice and spacious. overall it was a very pleasant stay.

This modern Parador is located on the edge the old town with easy access to all the attractions. Parking is available and is more than adequate The restaurant, while not very atmospheric, offers good food which pairs well with some of the local Bierzo wines. The service is friendly. Breakfast is, as in all Paradors, of a pretty high standard.... More

This hotel was nice, not as regal or elegant as the parador in Leon but to it's credit, it doesn't try to be. Pool was wonderful after walking 100km in 3 days. Check in staff were helpful and had great English. I ate in the restaurant which I thoroughly enjoyed. The roast lamb was awesome and the chestnut icecream (!!!... More

The hotel itself is spotless and very comfortable if lacking a little in personality. The staff are at very best bored and maybe even unfriendly, but my reason for writing this review is the food. In one word, it's awful. Been in the area for a week and eaten like a king for very little money. We were so looking... More

Most paradors are situated in old historic buildings. This a modern version which has been rebuilt in 2010 - the original was from the 1970s. It has all the usual comforts, spacious bedrooms, modern bathrooms, large flat screen tvs, etc. The building is a bit soulless and there is no overriding reason to stay here compared to other modern hotels.... As youall know, the Paradores of Spain are converted catles, monasteries, abbys, with modern amenities and historical appointments. Not this one. This is a very comfortable, modernly appointed hotel that could pass for an out of the way Hilton. The rooms are nicely sized, withcomfortablebeds and linens, though nothing lush. Reception is very friendly, always with a smile. The beeakfast... More

This is a modern hotel that is conveniently located close to the highway that goes from Madrid to Galicia. The building has the style of a Novotel or similar, with no personality. The views are OK, but you have the highway on the first stage, which does not help. The service at the resection was abrupt and unfriendly, a bit... More
